Better than Hostgator?

Hostgator sucks big time from this point of view.

So did you guys send them scanned copies of whatever they want?

And can you recommend other hosting company which is not asking for such BS?

I signed up with HostGator last week and I never had to send them any details.

I don't think there is much better than hostgator in shared hosting. IMO.

I have used hostgator for years, and I like it okay. Just started using Site5.com for my new sites and I really like them so far. Their support is fantastic as well as their prices and scalability. I've never tried hostwinds but if any of my IM adventures actually work, I'll try them next.

Hostgator is definitely overprice. I used hostamus and hostwinds now.

Hostgator is the best been there a long time. I also use H9 Hostnine to get server locations, their support is definately 24 hours, but I just wish sometime that they would fix the easy fixes instead of all the back and forth with messages, other than that I and my clients are happy.

I just bought a 512 mb vps, it only cost $6.95/month in thrustvps and installed it with open panel. It's faster than any shared hosting that I ever used.

Hostgator is Best, i am not ubderstand why you chose other one that's best . other option is Bluehost, godaddy, webhostingpad, Hostmonster.. all are good.
