GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

i dont think it is actually verifying links, i think SER is smart enough to recognize previously posted links on that particular page and automatically adds them to the verified count ;)

That is a possibility and is fine as long as it isn't wasting time to actually "verify" the links then I don't see it being a big deal. I'll see what Sven says about it.

EDIT: Here is what Sven said,

"If that is unchecked, the program is only adding links as verified if it finds them when trying to submit. It checks a site (e.g. a blog) is the link is already present. If it is (maybe submitted with a different tool before), it will add it as verified and skip submission."

It is working as it should be. :)

Folks the built in comments are held in a dat file in the engines folder, simply rename the file (comments.dat) to .old or something and drop in file with your own comments and rename it comments.dat. This will prevent you from accidently using the built in comments on future projects!

Unfortunatley it didn't seem to update what was already there so i had to manually edit my projects but that said i'd already editted some so it may have thought they were custom ones anyway.

64 Bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\GSA Search Engine Ranker\Engines\comments.dat
32 Bit
C:\Program Files\GSA Search Engine Ranker\Engines\comments.dat

You will also notice there are several other comment files there all pretty self explanatory.

Another auto blog comment worth binning, when you read it, it starts off complainging about the website loading and hosting

Anyway I am adding this RSS to my e-mail and could glance out for much extra of your respective fascinating content. Ensure that you replace this again very soon..|

Hey guys, there's a new bug fix update available for the guys that were having trouble with it freezing.

3.41 - fix: a stupid (!) bug from previous build (projects refused to start)

It's a mix of the lists that were posted here and in the other GSA thread. I added some legal keywords since I don't want to spam some lawyers site...:p
Here it is, have a go...

Thanks blackhit :) I've tested it today with 3.40 and as it looks it imported all 577 badwords.

An issue. As previously mentioned, my projects previously had 'verify submitted links' enabled, but i've since unchecked those as it sometimes seemed to hang verifying links for a long time, and i'd rather put that time towards actually submitting urls. I'd go to sleep at night with it verifying, and awake and it was still verifying, almost as though it had got stuck. Anyway, i now notice that the program now seems to be stuck in a loop whereby it mentions 'Attention! Option "Verify submitted links" is disabled in project options.'. And it's just looping this over and over for each project. I'd rather not have to re-check the box due to the verifying taking ages, is there any way to resolve this?

Awesome stuff; muchas gracias.

You do have a couple of places in there with double spaces that I don't think you want.

Here are some generic comments I wrote a while back. These are generic but sound a lot better then the ones that come as default content in the software now. It's already spun so just copy and paste it in the comments field.

The bad blog comments

If you right click on the blog comments box and load defaults on the pop up menu, you get nice ones added as default

Anyone thats seen what was being posted will know what I mean by that

is anyone else suffering crashes?

mine has just crashed for the 2nd time today?

No a reset to defaults contains this two comments as long as the comments-file isn't edited. What I did was combining the (damn cool) spinntext of s4nt0s with the original one and removing the two quoted problematic parts.

No mine is stable. I've only very often under XP Pro (VM) a problem when it is running and I click on edit project. It takes sometimes nearly forever to display the menu. But wen I minimize and maximize it via task manager then I can see the details of the project. I don't have other problems beside a little bit slow submission rate (but this depends on a lot factors I think).

What also is a little bit strange is when I add links manually as target, as more as are parsed, as it slower it gets. I don't think the VM is the problem.

There are a lot more than two in the original list, trust me on that.

I did the right click after upgrading to the latest version and the default comments seem a lot nicer and less confrontational / abusive

Hey this looks amazing, i've been running the program and a pop-up appears. IS there a trial registration code.??

I've got 3.41 too, but this default comments (I reset it the blog comment field) contains the quoted text strings. I don't know how you get a comment without them.

EDIT: @Mods: Double post! Please delete this one.

You don't need one. It's workinig for 5 days as trial - then you have to buy it.

There is no trail registration code. You just run the trial for 5 days until it runs out.

The offending file started
{I {hardly|rarely|seldom|almost never} {comment|leave a response}
Since the new update, the new file starts
{I have|I've} been {surfing|browsing} online more than {three|3|2|4}

Go to the blog comment box on each project. Right click in that box and on the pop up menu, Default content
And the new blog comments will load. Then save the project

Then copy the whole lot into a spinner just to be sure :)
Take off the first { or last } so all the spun comments show

Thanks for detailed explanations. But my field starts - even after a reset to default - every time with "{I {hardly|rarely|seldom|almost never}". I thought it's perhaps a problem because the project already exists, but even on a new project it contains this comment. I think then it's a bug. I'm also using 3.41 (latest version atm. I can get).

Would it be possible that you upload the corrected text to mediafire or something like that till the bug is fixed?

Contact Sven or s4nt0s on that one
If the contents get into the public domain, every kiddie will be using the comments on their blog posters
I have updated gsa on two pcs and there has been no problem adding the updated blog comments

Just for extra luck, Im also adding the comments s4nt0s posted
Top man for that s4nt0s.
Even more diversity of blog comments
