I have a few questions:
1 Do you still use link shortener? I'm afraid to get banned and from reading your reply in other thread dont understand what SEO benefits in link cloaking. Do you feel need to hide your traffic sources from amazon or somebody else?

2 Are you whitehat beside content spinning?

3 Can I register my associate accounts with different email address than my personal customer amazon account? It will have same name on it. I just dont want to mix emails and keep separate personal from biz emails. Dont want amazon to think it's multi accounting.

4 Can I use amazon buttons and images scrapped from amazon pages? Would it be against TOS? I dont want to use trademarked domain names, nor want to use copyrighted stuff just to not get banned for something silly like this.

5 What you do with visitors from countries without Amazon stores? Where do you redirect them? Do you show different page to them or different offers?

1) I don't use a link shorteners, like bit.ly/4j43dc. I use link cloakers so my links look something like mysite.com/amazon/products or mysite.com/article/mn?=amazon. Since I include some variety of the word Amazon in the links I'm pretty sure I am complying with their TOS. Naked affiliate links can weigh a site down in the SERPs, especially in more competitive niches.

2) Not really. I used to be, but then I was hit by one of the Pandas so I started experimenting. Right now I consider myself a low-grade spammer but someday I will be a high-end spammer if I work hard enough.

3) If you have all the same personal details there should only be one account account. If you set up a second one it should be in a family member's name or your business name.

4) Yes, they expect you to use their images and it is not against their TOS.

5) I target American traffic. If I notice a lot of foreign visitors I might put in the Amazon geo-targeting plugin to send them to a different Amazon but I don't get many sales that way. If there are huge numbers from a country without Amazon I might try to look into alternative affiliate programs but it has never been an issue for me because I target keywords that Americans are looking for. No one buys mass quantities of useless crap online like the Americans.

Sure, this method works great with Squidoo and Squidoo has done well through the recent algo updates.

With my big "legit" sites where I use Brad's CPA redirector I link to a search result instead of the individual product, so it would look like the display in the OP but no matter what product you click on they would all lead to the same page.

For MNS where I use Brad's CPA redirector I assign a product to different posts and the "See More" link to another post and put the Amazon display right below the header so it shows on every page.

EMD means more work but I think it should be rankable easier than a blog?

It depends on a lot of factors. If your starting a new site the EMD will give you more of a boost than a large site on a broad topic.

I read somewhere that GG dont like affiliate links that go out from your website, so better cloak them. But I never experiments if it changes something or not, talking about SEO.

I would put at the top of the sidebar and email capture form that they can submit their email to and it gets saved in a text file. Save the text file as "ruby_emails.txt" and then once a month or once a month you can pull all the text files and send out an email to entice them to click on your link (which will take them to amazon), you can put whatever you want in the email like "ruby rings @ 80% off for this week only". those 1 day cookies go fast so having a recurring way to get the cookie on their computer can be very profitable.

1 I use spinrewriter as my one click spinner with an article builder and it does good grammar-wise. Then I have another content generator that I made with zennoposter that works kind of like mad libs so everything is grammatically perfect (but it doesn't make any sense). I use both methods to create content for my sites and for backlinks.

2 With my one page sites (including my blogspots) and MNS I only backlink to the homepage. For my larger sites I backlink to most inner pages. I don't have an average backlink strategy because I don't have an average keyword. Most of the keywords I've been targeting lately have less than 1000 searches so I don't think what is working for me would work for a lot of the keywords other people are targeting anyway. I will say I love tiered bookmarks right now and I just signed up with Link Emperor.
