Okay so we all know only suckers actually pay for porn, but that's not good news for affiliates. So my question is how can you make $$ in porn? blogs are not worth the time/effort/ even with a autoblog okay, and tube sites have completely taken over. Tube sites are great but how can affilites make any money with them, I signed up with spankwire because they are the best and most popular tube site currently AND they are the only ones that let you have a affiliate link back.

So, maybe theres hope? any thoughts:(

yeah, if your thinking of a tube site its best to stick to one niche now a days. i.e. asian woman, gay, shemale, bbw, strapon..... and just fill your site with those type of videos.

and dont waste your time and money hosting ur own videos. i got a bill for $1500 from a hosting company and that was pnly with 2k uqunics a day!
 
Indeed , tubesites quality is rather crap with low resolution... Some people will pay for better quality movies. And niches too :) there are the weirdest shit in internet which people would pay for :)
 
Fetish niches are the way to go. Especially if you can find "actresses" who need cash. Many of the fetishes don't require much "porn" from them.
 
To run a tube site your guna need a dedicated server and a lot of money, its to much work.
 
I used to have a porn tube site about 6 months. There are too many expenses for dedicated server.

I make over 1000 USD a day pushing adult webcams. Adult will always be a popular industry =)

There's still money in pr0n, just approach it as if you're a webmaster, not as if you are an affiliate marketer. Or do both - but don't focus on the affiliate marketing aspect of it.

See clip-share.com, vidiscript.com, and videosz.com to get some inspiration and ideas.

I'm thinking of cranking out a chain of interlinked adult sites... a "toy store", a white-labelled "adult dating" site (or many), a video download site, and a tube site (or ten) and then using all the traffic generating tricks you'll find on BHW. This is also extremely inexpensive to do.

I agree there is money in porn. Also don't forget the "softcore" shit like adult dating sites and chatting sites. Greyhatdude had some good ideas. Think outside the box. With such a high divorce rate I am sure there are many ppl looking for adult dating. Also don't forget the niches like gay, or other fetish products to promote. Seems Videos do super well also.

And I believe their is still money in the adult industry but you cannot win anymore the "general" porn websites, as everyone is telling here, you should choose a niche/fetish, only problem is, how will you find out people their secret fetish?
 
hm this thread nearly made me go into porn business lol ;)

who wants to team up for a twisted tube site on a certain niche that will hit a alexa rank of under 1k?
 
All I know is porn isn't my cup of tea but I put one stupid, fetish cam girl blog together 6 months ago that has made me $2k/wk consistently, which has given me a hellava lot of breathing room while I developed my other internet projects. So look at it with a fresh, creative, open mind if you need to make some fast money in the internet marketing business.

Niche porn sites are the way to go as ordinary 'humping' is boring to watch, for most porn afficionados and, like you say, there is a ton of free stuff available for those who are not too busy doing it or prefer to watch. Of these at the moment and for the past couple of years, top of the list are Shemales, Ladyboys, Transexual, Trannies or whatever you want to call them.

Can't explain why, but it's a fact. I have porn websites, among all manner of other things and Ladyboys/Shemales are hugely popular with straight guys, not Gay.

After that, the more obscure the better, still staying within the law.

One of the latest is 'Teens in Diapers. Yes, I know, go figure...But what do you expect?...We are selling to Pervs and thanks to them I get to drink Champagne'.
