What's a good SERP checker?
Lately, the ones I use no longer work for google.
Anyone know anything else?
Does Market Samurai still works for checking SERP rank?
Last time I checked, it doesn't work.

Was looking at reviewing this as well, not having much luck at the moment.

Also on the same topic, IF proxys are used by the rank checker, for example something like "link assistant" to stop Google from banning your IP when running a large keyword check (500+ keywords), do you notice any locality differences?

ie. If you've got proxys in USA but you're trying to track keywords on another Google TLD

I gave up on MS as well .. Tried a lot of others but they were pretty terrible.

Currently using SerpBuddy by BTB. .. It's a BST thread.

There certainly are other choices though just depends on exactly what your looking for.

I have had it also with server-based s/w. You just cannot get the proxies to work reliably and not get banned.

serpbook is another one, and is a lot cheaper. I wonder if anyone (who is not an affiliate) has experience with them.

I just discovered that Rank Tracker for Mac OS is FREE. Awesome! :)

You can download CuteRank http://cuterank.net/ the FREE version allows you to check unlimited amount of keywords to 1 URL... however once you have checked them keywords you can just delete the URL and do another URL with another unlimited amount of keywords... or you can buy the PRO version for $59.99

I use Rankerizer by Brad Callen. Free to list members. Works great, add unlimited keywords and projects. When I do a new project it is a logical step to add a project to Rankerizer.... just sayin

WARNING: Its not free!!, the website is just a ploy to submit your email then you have to pay $1 for a free trial..

**EDIT**
nvm it seems that it is infact free.. *SIGH*... getting myself all worked up lol.

The problem with desktop stuff is you quickly get banned by search engines, and cannot check too many keywords. You need a huge number of proxies to get around it. That is why I am leaning towards online.

Great free tool -

which one is more accurate...desktop or online rank checker? I'm using rank tracker by seo power suite and it's pretty accurate but as you mentioned, you have to use proxies as search engines ban you ip

By the way, in fact Rank Tracker for Mac isn't free... You can't save your projects without upgrading to pro version. :P

I've been using serpbook.com and like their setup. It's affordable and flexible with domains and keywords.

I find their SERP results accurate. You can even share report links with others. Seems like they are adding features regularly.

I tried searching for it - couldn't find. Could you please give me a link?

I've been using SEScout till now. Works decent but it can go down for a long time occasionally. I'll check out SERPBuddy too.
