^^^ I think v2 will run in to the same problems. As the op said they change stuff all the time and he has to keep up with updates and changes which by the looks of it he has, quickly. Am I right in saying that v2 will need constant updating too?
Every tool will need constant updating. Like you said, platforms change their registration/article upload etc all the time. This is why there will be a monthly fee for those who want to keep the v2 working.

Well, I was already on the fence about trying this out or getting this. I think when V2 comes out I'm sold. Will it still be 77$ for V2?
No, it will be more expensive.

The ones who purchase v1 are locked in at the same price, right? Will they have to pay a monthly price as well?

The ones who purchase a lifetime license right now (or those who have already purchased it) will not have to pay monthly price.

hypothetically speaking how much would it cost for license transfer if i lose my computer and i used up all 3 licenses?

This tool looks like it has some potential, and like some others, I'm waiting for V2 until I purchase.

Do you think you'll add the ability to post to our own self-hosted blogs at some point?

One time I can do it at no charge.

Yes, this is coming in v2 as well.

Thanks.

Folks, there seems to be some confusion about the pricing, upgrade fees, etc.

If you purchase a lifetime license of uberBlogCreator version 1.5.x (the $77 one) now, you will get free updates forever and you will NOT have to pay monthly fee when version 2 comes out!

If you purchase a single license of uberBlogCreator 1.5.x (the $39 one) now you will NOT get a free update to version 2 and you will have to pay the monthly fee if you decide to upgrade. However, there will be a special upgrade price for those of you who have purchased a single license.

I still have no specifics on the prices for v2.

If you have any questions, I'm at your disposal :)

hi,
i have few questions

your software can upload different articles to different blogs it creates? right?
also, would it work fine on my pc or do i need vps ?

Yes (via spintax) and yes. You don't need a VPS, uBC was meant for desktop computers too.

when is v2 coming out I bought v1 some time ago and I rather wait for v2

I'm more confused than ever. (i'm a little slow sometimes) :D
I bought this ----->

Get uberBlogCreator LIFETIME license (yes, this means you get a FREE upgrade to v2) for ONLY $39!!!

But then I read this ---->

I'm not sure where I stand. I haven't even installed it yet because I was waiting for v2. Is there a way to see what license type you have ?

Since you have a LIFETIME license, you will get a free upgrade and will not have to pay a monthly fee.

EVERYONE who has purchased a lifetime license (either on sale, or off sale, or whatever as long as it stood LIFETIME license in the PayPal page will get a free upgrade and will not have to pay a monthly fee

Those who have purchased a single license (I think only 3-4 people have done this) will need to pay the monthly fee + upgrade fee, if they wish to upgrade.

How do we find out if we have a single licence or lifetime licence? I don't remember what it said on the paypal page.

Only 2 people have purchased the single license so far, and this single license has only been available since a few days ago. In other words, you have a lifetime license.

I give up to use this software for the moment..
Always get new error..

now is :
Signing up for blog number 1

There was an error in the software!
The error was:

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'group'

Please contact [email protected]
Please see the ubc.log file in the installation directory for additional details. Please send this file to the above mentioned e-mail address.

Unfortunately, uberBlogCreator session has now stopped.

I'll just wait for v2.. Tired of trying every updates, and no result at all.. It's true your software has potential, but if you didn't make enough input verification, bug fix, and user friendly control, it's a shame right now... and every time software has an error, it stopped to work, so basically it can't do anything..

Sorry, no offence. But I just feel a little disappointed. after update & update & update, not even once work well until the job is done..

if you talk about proxy, I always check if my proxy works or not.
if you talk that my input was wrong, then your guide is wrong too because I have done this just same as your guide.
even your software said that : There was an error in the software.
it have been many times in many module.

Hope v2 is not like this..
Sorry for my bad english..

Did you download 1.5.5? What module does this happen with? Did you contact support?

People, software will fail from time to time. There are way too many variables to account for without having an expensive development team behind it (which would require a monthly fee of $100+ per month, cough cough). Platforms change their registration forms all the time - and no, these are not superficial changes. Most of their changes are under the hood.

But always, always, check your proxies if none of the platforms work. Yes, uberBlogCreator is programmed to skip the non-working proxies. However, many proxies:

a) Redirect to a website every time you make a request (therefore posing as working, but not usable)

b) Are banned by the platforms (and it is impossible to test against this)

c) Work once during the testing stage, but fail at one point during the account creation.

uberBlogCreator version 1.5.5 is out

This version fixes the wordpress email activation bug for real this time, fixes the occasional error with Tumblr, and also incorporates reCAPTCHA for Posterous since they started using it recently.
