[CASE STUDY] Deady SEO's Operation CHAOS for Hard Keywords

UPDATE: Rankings seem stable now.

XdnSn

As for reports, still not received. :(

Just received the reports! FINALLY!

Here's what the zip I got had about rankings:
I0gPj

And the rankings according to TT:
f6Chy

Will go through the links in a couple of days, and update with their current status (live/down) and quality.

The first date shows as DDMMYY and the rest show as MM-DD-YY. Weird. :|

EDIT:
Anyone know why MM-D is banned on BHW? O.o

Interesting case study but as someone points out, had the report been supplied immediately when the service was finished, it would have proven to be a credible testiment to the suppliers services. However as he has NOT supplied a report until after 40 days it seems he may have been continuing to build links well after the timeframe of the job to heighten peoples expectations of his BST.

Alright so here we go with the links report.

In the folder that I got, there were 8 .docx files, each for each of the platforms.

There are no reports for SB and Xrumer blasts.

General note: Obviously I didn't go through every link manually to check the quality. I just opened a few, and they looked good. I haven't run the PR filter, it will take so much time.

Totals:
Total Links: 1077
Unique Domains: 1017 (Advertised: 1100 + Different Domains (Tier 1))

Conclusion:
- The quality of links is good. Some are contextual, and many are spammy "sig" links.
- There are not enough links, as many as were advertised.
- 1 complete platform type is missing!!!
- Many pages have the keyword, but not the link. So the actual number of links is pretty less.
- I haven't checked the PR of the domains, neither I want to after seeing the links. :(
- I'm not satisfied with the work, frankly!

just curious... did you check the dates when the links were posted to make sure they weren't rushed?

Oh. No. I didn't check that. Will do for sure.

=====

entri3 has promised to replace the links since they weren't as per the claims.

So here's what I'll be doing. I'll pick 3 random live links of each type, and post the date of creation (wherever available).

Apparently, the campaign lasted about 14 days! A platform was targeted every 2 days or so. I'll leave it to users to extract a conclusion now..

Nice case study, but like many others have stated, it is definitely biased since the service provider is watching the thread. Again, not every website can be ranked in the same way -- you have to analyze your competition and rank based on that. At the end of the day, no one knows Google's algorithm (which is beyond complex) so SEO becomes a lot of guess work based on experience and whatever little knowledge Google provides about ranking factors.

Thanks TheMatrix, this definetely helps on choosing between different services!

Another update. I checked the PR of the domains of Jcow links. In the diagram, it states PR3+. Here are the results of the first few links I picked.

gfu5Y

Hmm... Could be the recent PR update! But well, well!

Not disregarding the fact that you got less links than promised and of lesser PR, the results weren't bad.

TheMatrix, with all respect to you, your reputation here and your knowledge... please, stop complaining. You ordered your package, and you got the results. Why you are complaining that some platforms weren't submitted at all or you received 100 backlinks less than it was advertised? YOU GOT THE RESULTS, your keyword is ranking #3 when your starting position was #97. I don't know deadly seo service, I never used it, nor do I know seller of that service, but man, that service is awesome. I just love service providers who give you RESULTS and not just overdeliver you 100 backlink more than advertised but giving only 1-2 position jump. They might built less backlinks than advertised, but they gave you the results, I think when someone orders the service, they need results, not fancy numbers.

In the provided screenshots of TT analysis I can see that competition is high, plus you confirmed that in one of your posts.

About second keyword, I think it will be back in serps soon.

His kw1 has only 320 exact searches :(

To the people who say he complains, when you get money from the ATM you also expect that you get $100 when you type that in, not $90,- besides that there are more components of the service that are under delivered.

Matrix, I have to agree a bit with Harrison.
Give deadlySEO a bit of credit, it did move your keyword a lot :)

Maybe it has 320 exact, but from what I can see, there are authority sites on first spots with lots of backlinks.

I order backlink services not because it's advertised that I'm going to get x number of backlinks. I'm ordering because I want serp movement. Which as you can see happened and movement was great. About dropped keyword... Second keyword was ranking at #20 after service, yeah, it dropped... But IMO it will appear again soon.

Yeah you got a point there, #3 is certaintly not bad and there is only one to blame for the low amount of searches ofcourse. Still when you buy a service it should have all components in it, I sell seo services at another forum with many different gigs and always make sure that all is complete.

I agree with nik-0 here. Suppose, you order a burger, and you get only half of it which is enough to fill your stomach, but that's not what you paid for.

Results without getting the full package IS a problem.
Also, the searches don't mean the competition wasn't tough(though I don't remember what it was)
Matrix, you should consult with the seller on why you got extra platforms and didn't get some of the platforms promised in the package

Like I told you Matrix..

On another note,

Case Studies for services should not be allowed. They serve as advertisements more than "case studies"
