Shylesson, thanks alot man for the guide. I knew about automated blogs but never had the kick in the ass to start one.. until I read your thread.
I've made 10 autoblogs and in less than 2 weeks I have hundreds of unique visitors and I am making an average of $5 per day with adsense and a small amount via clickbank.
I have added a few super twists that send surges of sweet traffic to my blogs starting the very next day that I put them up.
I've minimized the 'footprints' and kept posts to an average of 5 per day.. no more no less.
There's some special plugins and modifications that I add to achieve autoblogs on steroids.
I can say that everything I am doing can be found here in the BHW forum.. just read and read and just put it into action.
Anyway thanks man, this is sweet.. now I believe I'm an autoblog expert.

Every plugin that you need to create an autoblog is either in this thread or forum , just search for 'wordpress plugin'.
I can tell you one thing , you should always customize your blog a big or at least the header so that it isnt seen as a MFA site. Also clear your footprints with all these plugins as google is extremely smart and they probably have bots searching for certain criteria that they believe has to do with an 'autoblog'.
I can't explain everything to a T, because learning is the most important part. You need to play around with different variables. You may find a formula that makes way more than mine does.. and I wouldn't expect you to tell me.

I have read all the posts but it would be better for me if i can get the list of all plugins. I have seen most of the people are talking about youtube video plugins. I think these are all around 10-15 plugins required to setup an autoblog.

you have some very good points here, especially about the footprints. I'm very aware of the fact they need to be removed when dealing with any plugins/software/scripts that are commonly used to create useless/spam/auto/google-hated sites. Could you elaborate a little bit on what the key elements you recommend changing/removing are when dealing with autoblogs and the aforementioned plugins in particular?
I think this issue is the problem many people run into when making splogs/autoblogs/blog farms. Google is smarter than you think! You can't have obvious commonalities with all the other BH sites doing the same thing as you, because as soon as the Big G finds catches on, all you guys are gone (ie. sandboxed)!

The plugins have footprints? I didn't think about that. Can anyone mention some of these footprints as they relate to a specific plugin? How would we fix these footprints, I don't think the plugins are open source so certain footprints would not be that easy to fix, just my opinion since I have not used any of these plugins.

I'm curious about this same thing... Generally when you're using a mass install script (ie. Blog Slammer, Blog Solution, etc.), there are footprints that are left in the templates. Hence the reason why it is very important to modify your template when using these (and just scripts in general). A few things that you should look out for are:
1. "Powered by.." or "Copyright" text that is often added somewhere on the page(s) - as obvious as this one is, many people don't remove it because it's too much of a hassle to sift through every page and do it. HINT: make a script
2. Default directory (or file) names or structures as well as default installation paths. It is a dead giveaway to the search engines if they see certain file and directory names that are used in a certain script, so sometimes it's wise to change that.
As far as plugins, all I can say is try to modify them as much as possible (ie. the way the text/articles are outputted). Also one key piece of advice I would say is try to stay under the radar when doing these autoblogs and seem as natural as possible by doing things like:
- keeping your posts/per day fairly low (<5) and make them inconsistent
ie. day1: 3posts, day2: 5 posts, day3:1 post, etc..
- same as above with pinging, don't overdo it.
- IMO, I would be wary when using adsense because it gives google a heads up, but as I said earlier in the thread I'm not as familiar with it as some others, and people seem to have conflicting ideas on the topic of using it or not with autoblogs.
- Vary the templates on your blogs (especially if adsense is on them)
This is about all I can say in terms of staying under the radar, and keeping your rankings. Just think of it like the original poster said, try to make your blogs look as natural as possible. You can still use BH methods to do so, just make sure to have the correct setup from the get go. Hope I helped at least a little

Hustlinhard has good advice on the footprint issue.
For example when uploading the plugins, such as wordpress-auto-plugin (example) , you can change the file/folder to word-plug .. because if it is an 'automation' plugin, google may do periodic searches for these file names.. especially if you are getting traffic and spidered regularly..

HAHAHAHA! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! That's exactly what I'm talking about guys-- doing your own thing! Now with all the questions I got and stuff, I have decided to try out ways to get traffic and better converting traffic and junk, but I am sure you did better than my non-promoting arse!
And I was trying to convince the people that adding their own plugins would be good too--I just gave the base ones I use. I even add diff ones depending on the niche etc. But I'm in love with that video one and hesitant to say what my ideas are for new autoblogs as everyone seems to go the dupe route when in actuality your own thing is better [think about it guys: you are not going to always get the same clicking visitors I get so why not try something different????].
I haven't had a problem with adsense yet and deindexing, but supposedly it happens for most ppl around month 6 which is still a short minute for me [but I got paid last week or whenever it was for October's adsense =P and haven't had any hangups for Nov yet....=D so I'm not gonna get scared til they ban me lol...and I still make sure to still be careful in my tracks and whatnot].
I use hostgator and siteground for 99% of my hosting needs [well hostgator 99%, siteground <1% and I have 1...yes 1 site hosted with godaddy....and i HIGHLY recommend NOT using godaddy.....but that site is not an autoblog anyhow...but STILL....I hate godaddy for hosting]. Hostgator is my personal fave and I have never had any problems. I have been using them for omg....6-7 years now?...it's been awhile.
I am so sorry I have been too busy to reply to all the messages and posts mates, but I'm sure ya'll all understand with it being the holidays and all. I do have the intentions of replying though-- just may take another week [sorry --extended my vacation last week which caused me to have to work more this week......though I've been on protest today cause my gf's getting on my nerves with her not-working-but-still-has-no-time-to-clean-after-HER-houseguests ass. =D but I digress.....].
My best suggestion is still to tweak tweak tweak. I do this with any method mentioned on this forum just so one thing doesn't get oversaturated too quickly and just to get some 'different' conversions. It works guys. I just can't reiterate that enough in text lol....it works.

I'm not offering services to set up these blogs. I have my mates do it for one guy, but as it's the holidays, I'm behind on my work, and my mates are going to be working on revamping mine as well as tending another biz...I don't have the resources of TIME at the moment. :/
eta: I ALWAYS change my headers on my blogs to one I make. Sure it's a crappy header, but I rename it sitename.gif or w/e and my sitenames usually have keywords in them. =D yay! So yeh-- getting rid of footprints is key too. That's why I've only put CC on one of my sites cause I haven't had time to mess with that one at all, but I do like it. See--- I know my post wasn't all inclusive...and I really want to make it my mission to make one of those said posts...but yeh...at the time it was more of a blueprint not to be duplicated line by line. =D

Already many discussions about that. I don't know which side is right - there is no real proof for one or the other side - but I tend to cheap .info domains. For strict WH-sites I use .com.
Especially when you start with that business, don't buy .com for e.g. 10$. Better .info.
I would recommend namecheap as domain-seller, the web-gui is fantastic, you can easily modify all your domains in one push, perfect! Price is about 3$ per domain.

as much as i hate godaddy, if you're thinking about buying cheap mass .info domains, they are the way to go. i believe the domains cost $1 (or 1.99), and if you buy a certain amount per batch, i think its 10, you get free privacy on them. great deal
