The problem with PayPal is that it is so widely accepted. You can pay almost everything with it - some shops/people even take payments exclusively from PP. The next real alternative would be Moneybookers/Skrill i think (correct me if I'm wrong)...

there are however a few dozen territories and colonies that if counted could bring the number up to something close to 250

Moneybookers is a pretty good service, along with PayPay as well. If you need credit processing or 3rd party paypal payment acceptance, Plimus is a good choice too.

OKPAY was going very well for me, but are having "technical" problems at the time and cant accept debit and credit cards.. Also they withdraw to the bank fees are crayy

I am with okpay as well, but could never reach them on the phone when I have a problem or question.

They seem sort of oke, but they really need to clear up that customer service.

If you are handling other peoples money, as in online banking as they are, they need to hire real phone support.

The problem with all these alternatives is that nobody uses them. Also as stated above their support blows. Takes weeks to receive a response sometimes and even then it's a one or two line response.

You are kinda right but the thing here is in Online business NOT all clients wish to revel their credit or debit card details with any merchant. So they feel it safe to use paypal to pay.

I can tell you from my own experience if you don't offer paypal payments you lose at-least 50% of your business online.

Thanks to the OP for sharing this sounds promising. I have already sign up there and verified almost all type of verification they require.
