Hi Jimbobo,
Just bought NHSEO a few days ago and it seems to be stuck at "Threads setup." Am I doing something wrong? Another unrelated issue is that when I look at the log it seems that it just suddenly stops posting after a few hours every time I restart it. Maybe you could help?

I don't really know what is wrong without more information, if when you start the app it just says "Threads Setup" in the log then you may have forgotten to add in the profile. If you have some idea of what is happening in the log when it has stopped or refused to start posting it would be really helpful.

Make sure it is the only thing in the trackback box and there are no empty lines.

I managed to fix the problem with the app getting stuck at "Threads Setup" by restarting the application.
As for the other problem, the application runs fine for several hours but eventually it gets stuck on updating the profile of one of my sites and doesn't post anymore.

I use v1.6.180 install version and when I wake up and
check the software it freezing and stop working.
just become not responding and show up pop up
said force to close.
I also do not see much confirmed links. like 0 and 1 and 3 and 5 links, very small numbers.
but comments and trackback posted numbers are like 500, for both comments and trackback.
maybe I have more live links but NHSEO do not see and not show up in confirmed links?

Are you sure you are running the latest update, version 1.6.18? Version 1.6.17 had a bug that could stop the searching which would result in exactly what you are describing.
The poor number of links could be any of the following:
1) Poor keywords - See this link to find out about how keywords affect number of links
2) Bad proxies - often public proxies can severely limit number of backlinks
3) Too many threads for the connection/computer - lowering threads could help
4) Poor results coming from Bing API - I am moving away from the current search method due to the poor performance of their results these days. I am hoping this will be available next week.
As for the not responding it could be that you are running too many threads for your computer, if you have a slow processor (single core or low GHz) then it could be that the tool is simply not responding because it is taking up all of your CPU cycles. If it is actually crashing and giving an error what does the error say? Any more information you could give would be really helpful in finding out what is happening in your situation.

Yep, I am running 1.6.18.0. It just got stuck at updating the profile for one of my sites again - the last entry in the log was

seems to work great doing nothin got 225 confirmed links in one site, moved up from 9 to 8 on google and my rank tracker was showing an additional 10 links indexed in just a few hours OK 9 PR 0 and 1 PR 1 which i thought was realy good fro nothing. Other site only 9 confirmed links but with very few comments it needs to change KWs I think.

Stop (red button) wait for posting to stop (color cames back to greyed out controls) go to profile handler tab, select profile you wish to edit in dropdown tab, edit, click save. If you go to other edit tabs while editing - pages- profile specific settings- and make changes... be sure to return to profile details tab and click save.
Do you want to attempt to comment using a full article? Whatever spun content you put in the custom comment field,[profile handler-profile details-custom comments file] that will be used... if empty then default comment file is used.
Could be.. or you may just need to wait. You might want to evaluate your keywords while thinking of JImbo's suggestions but trial and error will clue you in over time as to what keywords work best for your unique site.

could you change the generic comments or have you get any other ones, as I have l;ooked at some of the vonfirmed links and some of the comments are not even making sense :| :| :|

If it continues send me a PM or email and Ill go through a few things with you to try and find out what is causing it, it isn't anything I have been able to replicate in testing though.
This is absolutely normal. Not every website accepts comments, a website could be down or many other things will cause errors like this. If you are getting some it is absolutely normal if you are getting nearly all pages return in error then you probably have a proxy issue. It is not anything to do with minimising to the tray.
In the profile handler you can set the comments for each profile if you wish to. This way you can submit different niche comments for each different profile to add more relevancy to your links.
If this happened when you stopped posting it isn't anything to worry about, if it happened while posting it should have started back up again and carried on without any ill effect also. Did it stop working after this error?

Here is snap shot of after running 48 hours for several websites , looking for comments for op and everyone what do you think . Bad / Good / Ok
This was done with private proxies. All sites are from different niches . I have super fast internet and machine .
Also want to to say jimbobo2779 has been very fast on support and support is excellent .
