Amazon conversion is to low

Hi everyone,

Thanks for BHW guide and tips i've build a amazon affiliate site. I started from 28 dec. Now this site have some success with 32 visitor go to amazon from my site. But the conversion rate is to low, only 2 order :|.

Can BHWer help me some guide to increase conversion rate? Thanks you so much.

Start with more traffic. How many visited your site vs visited your links?

6% conversion rate isn't bad at all, you just need to send more than 32.

Conversions are okay.
I get anywhere from 4-5% to 20+%...
but it varies.

I know it looks like you are doing bad... but you are not.

You are actually doing okay.

From 32 visitors if you can get 2 sales that is more than ok, that shower that your page is good, the next step is just to scale the traffic. With those stats, if you got 1k visits you should get around 60 sales if my maths is right, its late here lol so that is something to aim for, don't give up!

It depends on Your niche. I have low cost essentials which has 15% conversions where as other sites with high end goods only 3% conversions.

My niche is Dancing games for Kinect. It is low competition with 800 search volume.

Patience, once more of your posts become indexed and ranked yo'll get more targeted traffic. Everyone is suggesting more traffic, but that's the not case, the more targeted traffic you recieve can help with your conversions. I had one site get 50 visitors and 10 orders vs another site that gets 300+ daily but 0-1 orders. And you will also notice that some of the purchased products your not even promoting, and you can credit that to your cookies.

Get some Press releases and niche related videos flying into the blogosphere, that should help bring in some targeted traffic.

Have you done any backlnking? If not, you should. Also, bookmarking, pinging, web 2.0 sites.

Just for future reference, don't reveal your niche on here publicly. There are poachers that will barge in on your territory.

No problem. You could also research some exact match domains with high monthly searches related to your niche and then forward those domains to your money site. That should also bring in some more targeted traffic.

That is good idea man, thanks you so much. About backlinking, i use free tool at IMTalk to submit my site to some directory. But Traffic Travis report now my site have 0 back link. That is right method for back link building?

Have patience mate, it's not even a month as per the start date you have mentioned. Will grow up. You can't expect a just born to run like Usain Bolt.

I have one question? I'v building a micro niche site, i have 34 posts. Is it enough for a micro niche site. I have some posts aren't on my niche. Should i remove them? With about 25 posts can i success?

I have currently a 4% overall conversion rate with Amazon and I believe that is great compared with other affiliate programs I am using, some of my amazon product sites have even a up to 15% conversion rate, just send more targeted traffic to amazon and you'll bank nicely
