Google+ is up and running. It did create some waves in internet marketing. However what are the prospects that Google+ may be used for making some money? Any ideas/opinions/views to be shared?

It's off to a slow start so it may be a while before it is a Facebook contender. I've noticed that it's popular with photographers ad I get a lot of people adding me that are not of any demographic I can use ( most don't even speak english). I guess they just like the pretty pictures. :D

It surely can be monetized once it gains enough popularity. But for now I think its got too few users.

Same ways of earning will be applies as from other social media sites, like facebook and twitter.

Can you give some clear ideas?

I noticed Google+ seems to be more friendly towards IM, especially with the +1 feature. As for getting your G+ account monetized, I don't know about how one would go at that. I suppose you can advertise your sites through it like with any other social networking site.

The only way I've seen G+ being monitized in Russian sites so far is from getting email and pass from bots and spamming links to trojans for shared articles to people in e-mail lists/circles. Not so much as SEO monitizing but getting moneys from peoples accounts after they click the links.

Google + is nowhere near facebook...not even on the same level...I really dont see the point of it...

Most sites start like that. They don't mind the off-beat activities on their sites until they make it big. They will all want to go legit and stuff once they attain that mass

Hi Guys......! :)
yes you can make money used by Google. If you have a website or a blog, you should definitely sign up for Google Adsense. There are ways and means to maximize your income from Google Adsense and as you get to know more about it you can start to generate a decent income from it that will keep rolling in month after month. It's a true passive income, which is why so many people are using it..... :)

We are talking about Google PLUS dude !!!

Like facebook, google+ can be use for advertising purposes.. The common thing that I notice for google+ is that businesses uses google+ to advertise their businesses, products, or anything just like facebook fanpages..

As of now, google+ is nowhere near the user of FB but steadly growing and most of all it is more on IM as stated by earlier poster because of it's +1's capability which I think as of now have some effect with google ranking algo..

I really dont see a correlation between google + and facebook. Facebook and google are way different, and although google is trying to get into facebooks market I just dont see how google + is going to do that. Facebook is light years ahead of google + :burnout:

I was one of those ones who signed up to Google+ all excited about this new amazing social network they developed...

I'm also one of those ones who got bored of it after five seconds because there is nothing to do on it, right now, there is literally nothing you can do on it that you can't already do on Facebook, even the 'circles' feature isn't original, you can share what you want with who you want of Facebook.

Plus Facebook just blew G+ out of the water with the new timeline profiles, which I think are brilliant.

I did some money providing +1's for G+ pages. But that's about it. I really don't see any activity anymore, not even among Internet Marketeers.
It feels like just another Google social network fail.
