I think women would much prefer to have social interactions face to face rather than on the Internet, as a workplace such as a building of employee's has a lot of people who are in at the same time and doing their own things, whereas on the Internet everyone is in a different timezone and working on completely different projects and as men, we don't mind Internet communication as much when we only see text. After all, it proven women are much more chatty are more likely to pick up subtle face gestures (even some that didn't happen funny enough when they need to argue a point).

I agree with LBrown on this. I peruse many sites by women...and most aren't SEO'd. It's just writing on your interests. I'm somewhat offended, to be honest, that anyone would think it's our duty to stay barefoot and pregnant however. Some of us are just as interested in the internet/money as the rest of you. Why are females not success and money driven you ask?

They haven't evolved to be thinkers, workers and hustlers.

Why should a female spend her youth building career, acquiring money and starting a business if she can spend that time partying, having sex with handsome men and later in life, once her looks fade, settle with some average guy with money.

Men give everything to women, so they do not feel the need to work.

As the guy your worth is made up from your status, money, looks, style, etc...Woman's worth is made up of her looks. PERIOD!

I don't think women are behind when it comes to Internet marketing. Its just that the numbers are few. However, when it comes to success stories, the ratio of women to men is much higher.

Thats because when the women try to start something (blog/website) whatever, it comes with passion for something as compared to men (well most/some) who start a site with the intention to make money.

Watch CNN or BBC or other news sites, every other week you have some women or the other being featured who started off a recipe site for example and made it big.

I personally have come across a woman friend of mine. Stay at home mom who started blogging about her recipes. Her way of 'linkbuilding' was to build relationships with other blogs. Sooner than later her blog started getting huge traffic. And guess what... she didn't bother to know about adsense. Her blog went on to be featured in a local US daily as well and she has now even released a book.
