Get paid to receive texts!

Lol. Why do you assume I am one of the people behind Cashtexts? I actually have nothing to do with them. I'm just another affiliate who was referred by someone else. Maybe you think its a scam but I'm actually intrigued by this business model.

Here's a piece of an email I got from my referrer.
In case you have any doubts about cashtexts being legit, I'd like to briefly mention that I personally know 2 of the people running cashtexts, one of which is a long time friend (so if you have any questions/suggestions, I can get them up to them for you right away, much faster than though [email protected]
In the US, a postal stamp costs $0.44 per stamp. businesses send out thousands and thousands of letters per day in hopes that you might read the letter and do whatever it is they want you to do. The most that cashtexts needs to pay their users per text message sent is $0.40, meaning, when cashtexts sends a text, as long as they charge more than $0.40 cents (which is less than the cost of a stamp), everything else is profit for them and incentive for them to run legit and pay it's users. On average, targeted SMS advertising runs for $0.70-$1.50 PER message. This means that they stand to make a minimum of $0.30 per message they send, they will be sending 5 messages a day per users (that is $1.50 profit per day per user, you should also note that the information that cashtexts has on it's user [name/number/email] only sells for about $1.50 per contact).

Multiply the amount of profit per user per day times the number of users (currently there are 17,000 users) that means that by running cashtexts legit and paying it's they make $25,500.00 per day (that's $765,000 per month). I think those numbers speak for themselves when I say it is smart for them to run legit.

Oh your Darren Cheng? My bad lol

New site coined as a "text version of Groupon" launching on 11/11/11 textcashnetwork[dot]com .

T.C.N. shares it's text revenue with it's T.C.N. Referral Agents using a 10 Level Referral Reward System. T.C.N. will pay up to $1.50 monthly per member, up to 10 Levels of Referrals, who agree to receive 1 to 5 T.C.N. Texts Daily. It is simple to do the math to estimate Revenue Sharing. Here are two mathematical examples of maximum revenue sharing. A 2x10 Referral Structure Pays A Maximum Earnings of $76.75 Per Day or $2,302.50 Per Month plus Matching Bonuses. A 3x10 Maximum Earnings = To High Of A Dollar Figure To Put In Print. Remember there is no limit to the number of Referral Agents or Members you can refer to T.C.N.

It's basically a MLM for text. You can join up under any number of referral agents spamming the crap out of this already or PM me for mine. I've got an idea on how to monetize this. :D

Your right but when I signed up and then I saw that my first thought was this is so BHW. I always take methods like this down to the people trying to make money online with linkbucks or survey sites. They will put info in any page that says they can make money. So when I started thinking about what would happen to the info I put in and I didn't get any text I thought of the other post about the full beta. And what kind of Internet beta only has space for 50 people WTF. I can't knock the method I already have it saved to use later but he did a good job hiding any red flags till after you sign up.

I am going to try this out. Let's see how it goes. So far I have registered and have received the confirmation on my google voice number.

What worries me is there is no privacy policy on the site. Plus the site looks outdated. We shall see soon if it's legit but if these beta test continue for another week i'd suggest something fishy is going on.

Yeah, gotta agree I think. Something a bit unprofessional about the site.
And that's not counting the bad spelling on the site (phile for file).

And they also added a doubleclick block to the bottom of their homepage. Lol. C'mon, really?

The only incentive they have going for them is, they pay $7.50 per member whereas TCN only pays $1.50. Then again TCN is already global, but they don't state how much you are paid per text and per level. Also TCN support is nonexistent, as i have asked them a simple question two days ago and have yet to receive a response.

They both feelin' kinda shady.

Update from their Member center:
URGENT UPDATE for 11/23/2011 (8:51 PM EST)
The wait is over, the cat is out of the bag, the genie is out of the bottle!

Some of you figured it out and others may have guessed. The secret is out! What better time to launch, for advertisers to reach a group of consumers by texting their deals, than the busiest shopping day of the year:

BLACK FRIDAY
Cash Texts will be sending the first of many text message deals on November 26th starting around 3 PM EST on Black Friday.

We are going to allow a few select advertisers to send out the first paying cash texts. Please bear in mind that not all advertisers plan to send a text to the entire list, so you MAY not get a text if you don't match their target criteria. And also bear in mind that the volume of texts will start off low and increase over time.

So the best thing you can do between now and Friday is go and start configuring your Favorites and also be sure that you have turned your "Receiving Texts" to ON and completed all the settings in the Profile section. This turns you into a target for advertisers eager to reach you!

Finally, if you do get a text please realize that while you may not immediately be able to track your personal or referral earnings off texts received, rest assured that we are logging everything and will have a dashboard in place for you early next week to see any earnings you qualify for.

We will keep you guys updated regularly. Meanwhile, everybody in the USA, please have a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday!

The first text was sent yesterday according to their Facebook page. Has anyone received a text? I can't confirm it because I'm not mobile verified.

I got the text. Looks like an affiliate link. I don't mind that as long as they pay. I am about ready to get my downline in order. I need 1000 members so I can sit back on an island somewhere.
