I'm so far not seeing many likes however when I tested earlier it seemed to work.

I had a social plugin installed with a +1, tweet and like button at the top of the page, I went into the plugin and turned the like button only of however still have the social plugin active.

Would this cause any issues? I'm asking as I haven't seen many likes so far.

If you are seeing "likes" then it would indicate that you plugin is indeed working. There are two main reasons for the amount of "likes" your site gets when using the plugin:

1) How many of those visitors who come to your site are logged in to FB?
2) The number of those visitors who click a link on your site

If you have tested our plugin with the other social plugins also activated and "likes" are being posted then it's fair to say that our plugin is working else it would have given errors or not posted a "like".

It's been 24 hours and I've seen an increase in likes so this plugin is pretty cool.

Good that it doesn't allow a like on every click to help look more natural. 100 visitors, clicking on an internal link each giving a site 100 'likes' to any given site may look a little fishy...

I've tested the plugin, and following the detailed instructions I was able to get it to work (after a few tries). Clearly, a normal visitor isn't going to go through the process of clearing their cache.....so I'm not sure how good a test it is. After having the plugin active all week we havent seen a single LIKE.

If I only include pages with a 0% bounce rate (i.e the visitor always clicked a link), we have had 250.... but not a single LIKE. Some of the visiors actually came from our facebook page, so I know they were logged into Facebook.

Very dissapointing, but to be fair I have logged a fault with support and will see if there may be an underlying issue.

I received a very fast reply from support, who have suggest that the problem may be that I am running wordpress 3.1 I will be upgrading to re-test.

Hi,

The plugin comes with a 20 domain license so it can be installed on up to 20 domains at any one time. If you have it installed on 20 domains and decide to uninstall it from 3 of those domains you can then reinstall it on 3 other domains.

Extra license are also available in packs of 20 for $17.50 per pack ($1.75 per license).

I've been testing the plugin and it works like a charm, even though that I tested in a blog that isn't even indexed in google. It increased the traffic by 1000% (As it is a test site, I had 2 or 3 random visits, now I recive 30 - 50 a day) I guess in a major scale, it will bump your visits.

you're referring to the pro version of the plugin which has been in development for some time and goes way beyond what the standard version of the plugin can do.

I am always upfront with everyone so i'd rather you didn't cast aspersions on my reputation for your misunderstanding of something.

The just released pro version of the plugin is a separate version of the plugin. It is not an update of the standard version.

We have just released it for $117 but customers who have purchased the standard version of the plugin (the one being sold in this thread) can get the pro version for $50 instead of $117. (that's quite some saving).

What the pro version does is allow you to post "likes" for any site you choose. Basically you install the pro version on one of your wp blogs and in the admin section of the plugin you can enter up to 10 different urls of any website that you want the "likes" to be posted for.

These url's can be for any site (not just the urls for the site where the plugin has been installed).


So you could enter the url of

• your fb fanpages
• a static html site
• your youtube videos
• your web 2.0 properites (such as those in linkwheels)
• your articles in article directories

you can choose to have the "like" posted for up to ten urls of any site that you choose.

Now bear in mind that if you have purchased the standard version of the plugin you can install that on 20 different sites. And because the pro version is a stand alone product you can install that on another 20 of your wp blogs.

Because you can enter up to 10 urls to have "likes" posted to in the pro version, that means by owning both plugins, you can have "likes" posted for 220 different urls.

And all of this for a combined price of $97 ($47 for the standard version and $50 for the pro at the special discount price).

Now that is what i call a good deal.

To get the pro version for $50, instead of $117, simply go to the special offer page that you will have been sent the link for, enter in the same paypal email address that you used when purchasing the standard version and you will be redirected to the special $50 price for the pro version.

If the system does not recognize your email address is will automatically redirect you to the full $117 price page. Should this happen to you then please send a support ticket to our customer support desk. The url of that is in the readme.txt file that you downloaded with the plugin.

just wanted to update my last post on this thread for OP , it's seems I got on the card the refund for you guys . Still the prepaid card issuer didn't reply to my damn emails where I was asking why this damn transaction got reversed most probably gaypal retard rules over there . If you have another payment processor who can handle the transaction please drop me a pm / email on my profile from your support site . In meantime trying to find another damn prepaid card to can order my license Since I really wanna '' see it on action '' lol

This is my first post, I have been reading for a long while on the shadows... but I have decided to take the move register and exchange knowledge here.

First thanks for having a wp plugin like this seems so sweet! I cannot wait to do some testing with it. I have a question tho . Is it possible to run the plugin outside wordpress? in another site without CMS for example? Static pages?

Just bought the plugin yesterday. Had trouble setting up ioncube on my server. According to my phpinfo ioncube loaders are working, but when I contacted support for this product they basically told me I'm on my own. I'm really annoyed that on day 1 I can't get support from these guys. I went out on a limb because other people on here said the support was good, but not for me. I am really disappointed.

I sent an extremely detailed support ticket with a link to a phpinfo.php file that shows what's happening and I just got a form email saying that it's not their problem. Happy Thanksgiving.
