How many hours a day you work ?

14-18 hours per day. 3 hours of sleep per night.

It usually takes me about 6-8 hours to write and proof read the 10 articles that I usually write in a day. 6-8 hours is not much compared to what some people put in here but I concentrate quite intensely in those 6-8 hours.

I used to have a full time job where I used to spend 10-12 hours at the office. But, I have never been as tired from working in an office as I have been while working for myself. When you are working for yourself, the sincerity level required is much more.....

After my article writing, I usually spend about 3-5 hours working on my little portfolio.

I try to work as much as possible but it's not unusual for me to get sidetracked and spend hours just browsing the web, playing games and answering to threads in the BHW lounge :p

sometimes i don't work for days, but after, i have to work more

"Sincerity begins at a little over 100 hours a week. You can probably get to 110 hours on a sustained basis, but it's hard. You have to get down to eating once a day and showering every other day, things of that sort to really get your life organized to work 110 hours." - Len Bosack, co-founder, Cisco Systems

I take that to heart, especially the bolded part.

Usually work around 12 or more hours. 6-8 hours of sleep.

I cant believe some of you that only sleep 3 or 4 hours a night! I need at least 5 or 6 hours of sleep to function.

I work all day every day because I love doing this stuff. I live it and breathe it. But I don't really consider it work...so I guess a technical answer would be 0 hours

I don't work enough, only a few hours a day,but now I'm working on a video game so Ill be probably working 8 soon.

Working 16 hours a day is ridiculous and I'd say very few people can actually be effective for that long.

In my opinion you need to structure your time better, be more goal oriented, and hire people.

Why be rich if u can't enjoy life?

P.S. I run the marketing department for a medium sized international tech support company. I work around 50-60 hours a week.

"The American Cancer Society examined leisure time
spent sitting and physical activity in relation to mortality.7
It found the risk for women with ≥ six hours/day sitting
during the time period studied had a 40 percent greater
risk to die than those with ≤ three hours a day sitting.
For men, the increased risk was somewhat less, but still,
men with ≥ six hours spent sitting had a 20 percent
greater risk for mortality than those with three or less
hours. Associations were strongest for cardiovascular
disease mortality. The study involved 53,450 men
and 69,776 women during a 14-year follow-up study
adjusting for smoking, body mass index and other
factors. In a nutshell: reduced time sitting has a beneficial
impact on mortality."

Don't over do it and take some breaks. Work smarter and try to outsource a big part of your work (if you can)

I am going to start working standing up.
