dude, what you need is to live as healthy as you can and you'll be fine even though you have to be a batman.
Get 7-8 hours sleep a day and make sure your room stays "dark" when you have to sleep at 5-6 AM. Lights will make one of your hormones (not sure what's the name, i forgot) to stay awake instead of "resting", that's actually the biggest difference between sleeping early and sleeping in the morning. Thats why if you sleep with all closed windows etc. you will still get a good sleep.
Dont listen to what people say "as long as you get good sleep, short sleep is fine", that's crap as it's very hard to get what's they define as "good sleep". As long as you stay away from stress and dont think too much before you go to bed you can get a decent or even good sleep. 7-8 hours is recommended as we never know how can we consistently get a short good sleep. I always want to reassure myself.
The next part is to make sure you go working out. Try to workout 2 hours a day, 4-6 times a week. If you dont find weightlifting entertaining enough, you can try to find a suitable sport for you.
The biggest part is to know how to eat healthy. Aim 3500 calories a day, eat a lot of veggies and fruits (except too many citrus), eat easy-to-digest carb, protein, and controlled amount of fat. By eating healthy and exercising, even though if you have to sleep in the morning and become a batman, you surely would notice a huge difference, even way better compared to using energy drinks.
me for example, always felt sleepy when i used to drink coffee and other shits, but as soon as i started working out and changed my eating habits, 1-2 months after that I noticed huge difference in everything. I dont sleep late anymore nowadays but im sure it works better than consuming energy drink/coffee BS. A processed drink, no matter what it is, if you consume it in long run, it'll get back to you one day. I used to consume whey protein too for my muscles but i've stopped and now rely totally on natural foods. It's better actually, i can feel it.
oh and also, don't sit in front of computer all day. You need to get up and take a walk every 40-50 minutes, just walk for 5-10 minutes, go check your novel or something, then go back to your PC. It'd refresh both your brain and your blood flow.
