How is this guy doing this - what tool?

Why does everyone think he's using a specific tool? Does no-one roll their own anymore? BMD is by NO MEANS the best way to submit to pligg/scuttle

I dont know how harrymctavish is doing that, but I know how I'm doing the same. :-)

Custom javascript tool, thats it.

There's a common misconception that mainstream tools are the only tools. Hell, for YEARS there was an underground tool movement that was only spoken about amongst one or two forums. Rolling your own is def the way to go if you have the ingenuity or resources.

If you want to go the easy route, and if you have the clientele stream to support an endeavor like this, simply elance the software creation and have someone make you a submitter.

surely he wont share anything with us, who wants to share his/her busy details in public , i am sure none of us.

SickSubmitter and Scrapebox can do EVERYTHING that he's listed as a service on his site. You don't have to have someone create programs for you- that's just a waste of money and time posting an ad on Freelancer that you can use on something else.

Scrapebox is awesome for blog comments and finding high PR pages

SickSubmitter is awesome for submitting bookmarks and recording all of the login info necessary for customers who want it after purchasing services. It creates social boomkarking and forum accounts and also posts posts to them without any problems, over and over again. It also spins usernames and such and keeps track of all of the urls where bookmarks and articles get posted.

If you want to replicate is service, just get both of these programs, and learn them well. :)

Could be couple of templates integrated with zennoposter

or

Couple of bots integrated with ubot

AutoPligg? I think it gives you the bookmark url.

Are you sure autopligg gives you the exact bookmark url? I was looking at their site and I never came across a word about reports. Opened a support ticket.. no reply.

SickSubmitter can be slow, yes, but there are a lot of cool things that it can do that BMD can't. It just all depends on how you use it and what you are trying to accomplish with the program. My advice is check both of them out (SickSubmitter is only $20 a month, so I'd start there first), and then go for BMD. Personally, I'd rather just pay someone here to bookmark sites for me cause it's WAY cheaper. BMD is pretty overpriced IMHO. ;)

Can't really agree with you here.

I had Sick for about a year (so spent a LOT more on it than BMD - sick submitter for a month is like having enough oxygen for a month..pretty much a useless situation)

First thing - they are entirely different tools for totally different functions.
Sick is a linking tool
BMD is an indexing tool

Although both just about "could" do the others job - in an ideal world you need the pair

Also - it's not the easiest to program. You either spend a considerable amount of time programming it yourself (which I did) OR buy "packets" from the website.

I ended up buying a couple of packets... and what a waste of time they were.
Turned out to be the exact same sites and content profile that Scrapebox and BMD post on for nothing.

There is a place for Sick - if you buy cleverly or program to post on profiles that others haven't yet used (much..i/e aren't overspammed)

To run both properly - factor in captchas and proxies

That goes for nearly all decent tools these days - without these two consumables you are playing with one hand tied behind your back

BMD just runs out of the box.
Feed in some fresh email, make accounts.
At a rough guess I've posted around 3.5 million bookmarks in the last 3 years (between 2000 and 3000 bookmarks a day) for a tool I bought through my own Clickbank account (so only paid 50% of the ticket price for) about $70. that's 3 and a half months Sick.

As for buying packets that seems good or popular on the Sick forums..BEWARE.

For instance, one of the most popular posting packets is "PliggRobot". You pay about $8 a month for it (on top of the $19.99 for Sick) and it posts to Pligg sites. Pligg sites that you can post just as effectively in BMD for free.

My BMD has over 135,000 pligg sites in it (harvested with scrapebox, you just add them to BMD with couple of clicks of a button)

This premium packet now posts to just 700

I'll say no more about that. (BTW before any other tool, I would get Scrapebox. It adds value to almost every other tool you have..no scratch that ..it adds value to ALL other tools you have, as well as being a very fine and fast scraper/poster in itself)

The other thing about Pligg, Scuttle and Scuttle Plus is, you can post on most of them as often as you want from just one account. (I have about 12 just for this purpose "just in case" one for each major project I run) But in theory it is so simple, and once you've bought BMD ..it's free ..forever

Again though. Sick is (or should be) for links - BMD is for indexing (either sites or links).

THink you don't need an indexing tool?
Well, if you runh one or two sites, you probably could get away with using the free resources on the net to post your half a dozen new URL's a day.

If however you have several sites of your own,, clients, lots of links to index (just done a massive article run or scrapebox run or whatever)
Then indexing is a must.

You can pay for Backlinks Energizer or similar tools, or use BMD and
a decent RSS sumbitter and also Ping (Use the free Bulkping service) and do it for nothing (well the cost of proxies and maybe the odd captcha)

Note to all (becasue 70% of people seem unaware of this)

Pinging your RSS feed is not the same as RSS submission.

RSS submission is like a directory submit. Your details, feed, URL often name and bio are all stored in an RSS aggregators directories.

Pinging is simply sending a message to library sites saying "Hey new info here..if you're interested" (and most times they aren't.)

Pinging is more effective to aggregators to whom you have already done a full RSS submit.

The tool RSS Submit by Ksoft (Dummysoft) is now - officially SHIT.

It used to rule but hasn't been updated for years. It reports far too many false positives (i.e it tells you you have been succesful when in fact 80% of your submissions have failed) so for now I recommend Bulkpings free online service.

Anyway - linking V indexing...

You need tools to do both, but I struggle to recommend Sick as the best linking tool. UNLESS you learn to program it yourself and are happy forking out $240 bucks a year and some considerable time invested in learning it's foibles and programming it or being lucky enough to find someone selling packets that are actually worth-while buying.

Scritty

I would really love to find out what tool you are using - feel free to PM me...

I run gazillion link-building projects per day and sell bucket load of link packs and BD is the only tool that slows me down. I was looking into the new Scrapbox learning feature to see if I could train it to register accounts on pligg, scuttle, and PHPdug sites, and then do the bookmraks, but it was looping like crazy and eating capthcas without any feasible success.

Working Xrumer mod would be the best since it will solve most of these capthcas and is super-fast.... If anyone reading the thread has a working mod and is willing to sell, or can point me in the right direction, feel free to PM me.

I'm also interrested in buying some kind of modz :)
Feel free to pm me ;)

How can you use scrapebox to get the actual story url from the profile/history page.

Please advice.

tool I bought through my own Clickbank account (so only paid 50% of the ticket price for)

I was thinking about that. Is this still possible? (Heard some stories it's not easy as it used to be...)

Best tool that I use is xrumer with the pligg mod.
It's a pain to setup and I had to get the mod fixed to work with more sites.
