Anybody using No Hands SEO?

After updating to 1.6.5.0, the program seems to disregard the "website / page" option on the profile.
It is definitely set to "page" and is creating links for: /wp-admin and other pages for the site. I've re-saved the profile and rebooted the program and computer and still get the same result.
Tried to add a 2nd profile to test, but only have 1 domain I'm using this on and it says "profile exists"
Should I delete the profile and re-add it? a little worried about posting to sites that have already been linked.

Ive tested this as you said you were having a problem and cannot see anywhere in the code that could create this behaviour, I have not seen it myself and have never had anyone else report this behaviour. Is it possible it was added as a website and then changed to a page profile or something like that happened? Is it possible you have another copy of No Hands SEO running, or some other app that accesses the DATABASE.db3 file?
When I had the trial it was a website profile as I was just mucking around. Changed it to page after purchasing and it ran fine yesterday. After the update it seems to still act as a website profile although it does say "page" under profile type.
The only thing that might access the .db3 file is NOD32 as it pro-actively scans..
I'll delete the profile and see what happens

No need to remove the profile. It will have scanned pages while it was a website profile and then stopped when it was changed to a page profile. When you do this it keeps the pages in the profile like it would if you had a multiple pages profile. You can just go to the profile handler and remove the pages you do not want to get links for and you will keep your progress from your original profile.

Jim is dead on in his assessment. It's all on how you feed the tool. Now, even without AA lists, this tool is dead simple in that you load it up with a bunch of scraped proxies, set your details and let 'er rip. I've got this on one of my Dell R810's just cranking away

Yeah if you stop it it will restart from the same position you were in before. Everything is saved as it goes so you dont lose anything when you close. The confirmed column shows the amount of links you have, not just how many comments / trackbacks have been posted but how many have resulted in a live link.
You can export the links by right clicking on the profile and choose output links.
I love these well constructed comments about the tool.
As a matter of fact just the trial is not installable on VMs because lots of people were using VMs to reinstall over and over and as such were getting past the trial limitations. I have no intention of allowing people to use the trial to get the full version for free so I had to limit it so installation was not possible on a VM.
Full version is absolutely able to install on VMs

Just for the record I have no interest in getting into any kind of flame war with you or anyone else. I think you will find that there was no anger or stress in the way I replied to you calling me/my tool/my decisions dumb. I simply explained why it was the way it was and that it was to protect myself from scammers using the previous trial to get (essentially) a full version of my tool.
I might have replied a little snarkily but lets face it your post was hardly respectful and I am a firm believer of treat people how you wish to be treated, that is why I replied to your PM in the manner I did. Saying that I/my tool is dumb in public is not the best way to approach someone with an offer.
I did not mean any malice or to annoy you I just wanted to reply to your comment and explain why the tool could not be installed on a VM and that it was that way for a very good reason.
Also you could have PMed me for a trial as I could have set you up with a full account and just removed the account after 7 days effectively giving you a trial that you could have installed on a VM.
Again, I am not wanting to get into a flame war and apologise if I upset you in some way.

no flame war. everyone is entitled to their opinion on software, and with using a program and the program getting updates my impressions change over time.. its a process.. cant always fall in love at first sight. dont worry about the pm offer i was drunk when i sent that.
and i agree with treat people how you wish to be treated but if i did that with my company or job, to a customer in there face it wouldnt turn out pretty most of the time...
the protection of the internet is a whole norther ball game bud, its like being cut off in traffic and grandma flicking you off lol
my point is this software is VERY unique from Everything else out there, and I wanted to do a writeup on it but who am I? Mr nobody!!
i also guess i didnt see much faith from first glance because i looked at http://www.majesticseo.com/reports/site-explorer/summary/nohandsseo.com and didnt see very many backlinks

Hi jimbob, im using v1.6.4 and im experiencing large cpu usage again unfortunately. Im running three profiles and have a quad core phenom black edition with 4GB of good ram on a gaming motherboard. Sometimes the cpu usage is low, especially after a restart and for first few hours but then it remains at above 60% cpu usage. I have nothing else running at all and my pc would be off/sleep if i wasnt running NHSEO.
Sometimes mine often crashes too upon pressing stop but i can live with this as im sure it will get ironed out in the future. Not often i want to stop it.
advice appreciated matey.
Just a note to others, This is totally a hands off program but like with any other, it requires you to adjust the tools settings to suit your seo, pc and requiremnts/tastes.
Out of the box, it is as jimbob (OP) states, add your website,keywords and comments and press play! nobody can argue with this!
People ask is it like scrapebox? no it isnt and isnt designed to be!
If you buy scrapebox and use it with no proxies, little keywords and its factory set comment (hi great site etc etc, you are a great person and ill tell the world!) then your comments will not stick. Its fact!
Jimbob has added a mass of spinnable comment data into this and although it may not suit many of your seo needs, its there and works. You should definately adjust this to suit your needs. Its your job to do this and jimbobs is an example/helpful indication to get you up and running from pressing go. If you buy this tool, then you buy the tool and do not sign up for getting something entirely catering to your individual needs and niche. You can buy a hammer but it wont drive nails in on its own!

I have been using this tool for a month now and can confirm that i have put a good 1hr at the start into manually entering my keywords and anchor text. This is all.
I run two wordpress sites and i now see in my wordpress panel that im getting incoming trackbacks and comments etc for my domain. I have never had any and im only running NHSEO.
My G webmaster tools are showing results
MY yahoo site exp is DEFINATELY showing hundreds of new results! i click them all individually and they take me to a comment or post from NHSEO.
My serps have not danced in my case but have risen up for sure.
Im vary concious of what tools and services i buy and i do not rush into things. As the OP offered a free review, i took it and tried it out without complaint as i did not own it. I monitored the OP's dedication to the tool and his customer service. result? I chose to purchase as i personally decided that the OP was true to his word and factual in what he always says. This tool had proved itself to me in my case within two weeks and i decided that the OP should be paid and rewarded for his personal efforts and products that will and have save me time and money.
By all means, use the review version which he has kindly given you for a free trial and monitor everyone elses feedback. Do not swamp the guy with abuse or stupid questions that belittle his work. Make possitive enquiries and he will answer you i guarantee.
Finally, im not financially or otherwise involved with the OP, i do not know him, i have not met him.
He has answered my questions and provided me with a tool that is working for me day and night at a crazy price which cannot be sniffed at. Nobody else is currently offering at tool that you will own that does this job and can charge clients if you so wish for its use.

Spent ten minutes setting 8 profiles (2 site, 6 page).
Over the course of a month I have run it for around a total of 48 hours so as not to create too many links in one blast.
Have been very happy at the release of new features and how fast the programmer sorts the bugs out.
Now have 2877 new links spread across those 8 profiles (about 1500 are whois)
Some of the links have pr3 or greater and are ********.
I have always been able to manually confirm the links are real.
Moral of the story: Nothing ventured nothing gained.
I do not know the programmer or his family, friends, pets etc. I wish I did so I could have invested in him when he first started writing the software.

Hey Jim, I just tried again and got 86 confirmed blog comment links in 3 hours and 161 total confirmed links
. Wow!!Jim when you say target handling do you also mean we will be able to add our own AA blog lists in and be able to specify to the software which of our site pages it should submit this list for? Is there an update in the future coming to allow us to add our own blog lists to be submitted for any specified website that would allow us to run these blog lists simultaneously for each website.
Satisfied cant even come close to how happy I am with this software . After being ripped off many times on other forums nhs blows away any automated software for blogcommenting.
I am using scrapebox to build the list and then add it to nhs.

As for the target handler it won't be possible to set certain targets for certain pages but will be possible to remove targets (previously posted or to be posted) as well as a few more updates to the profile handler. The next feature update is going to be more than just target handling, it will also have more per profile settings but I do not know if I will add them all together or slowly phase them in.

I would just say that this tool - much as I like it for "lazy linking" that is sufficiently different from say Scrapebox for the links it produces - is an absolute hog of your bandwidth.
I use 70 odd private proxies and pay a premium if I go over 30gig a month - THis baby uses a gig every 2 hours approximately, so I need to top up my bandwidth quite often.
It's not expensive - but I need to factor in an extra $25 a month to keep my proxies going (on top of the normal monthly cost)
\And no - I won't use free or scraped proxies, they make a good tool seem like a crap one. I go from 80% success post in SB (after fast and slow submission) on a checked list down to about 25% success on the same list - and it takes 4x as long.
