Hi meathead,

I have a few review sites and productreviewsite and your method is really refreshing.

I have started using your method and mostly alerts about new blog post or article directory which you can't post. I am now trying forums instead and been trying this for the past two days. I have not make any sales but I will stick with this method for quite some time. The reason is because forum does not like people to post their link in the first post.

My only question here to you is are you putting your link in the sig to generate sales? Can you share how you put the words in the sig? I am looking to get people to click my links and generate sales?

Hope you can help me out in this area because I think I am doing something wrong in this area.

I'm not meathead but i'm using the same method he posted for a few months now.
If you're having troubles with posting links in forums, build a reputation first. Create an account and post some stuff without adding your link. You don't need to write a novel, just a few blah blah postings.
It requires a bit of extra work, but it pays out at the end. After you did a few postings without adverstising your site, it's time to put your review page/blog into your signature. No need to use fancy words for your link, just say what it is such as "my personal reviews of cat's food".
Thus everytime you post something in a cat forum, people will see your link. You don't even need to post only about cat's food. You can also post in the other categories of the cat forum. Because someone who owns a cat, is highly likely interested in cat's food even if he didn't asked about it.

I would go quite broad with the niche. Weight loss for women would be fine, but you'll get less G Alerts, so you're probably better off targeting generic weight loss products.

With video games, you would do something like "xbox reviews" as your site and then on there review Halo 3 (and other games). Then set up alerts for xbox reviews, halo 3 and related games.

The beauty of this method is that you're getting instant direct traffic, so it doesn't matter if you pick the most competitive, broad niche out there.

Tried the method myself, and in fact it does bring highly-targeted traffic to the web page. The chief idea is to spend a little more time on niche research, since it would be hard to sell products that are robust and highly competitive - the 'non-authoritative' review wouldn't have as much effect in persuasion for call of action as for instance in trying to propel popular and seemingly low price-ranged product into the market. Perhaps this method is more of a trick up in the sleeve, which should serve as an addition to already functioning traffic methods that help to accumulate visitors and potential buyers. Ranking for the products' keywords, or other interconnected avenues shouldn't be overlooked!

I have now included this in my updated list of to-do list when building traffic and backlinks section on my project manager. One of the simplest methods to use and implement. thanks a lot mate. now i just need to find a way to scale it up and improve my efficiency so i can build more pages and post more comments and posts.

i did set up a wordpress website with my clickbank product on but even that i did answer some yahoo forums with my link i still dont get a single visitor.

it would be great if we were a few noobs sharing what we can to each other with advice on each others product and sites and have contact by MSN, skype, google talk or any other communication platform.
