I just read this marvelous piece and I must say that I feel really energized and motivated to give my best. Few points which I must add here-----
Avoid distractions-Distractions can be of any form and they are always ready to distract you. You need to have strong will power & ability to determine the priority at that point of time. I must say I have had plenty of distractions in the form of Girlfriend, T.V, social media platforms ( I did nothing meaningful) etc. Slowly but steadily I realized that they had become weeds into my life, so I tried setting up priorities, which paid off beautifully.
You need to avoid listening to detractors- There is saying listen to everyone but do eventually what your says. They are like an owl who can only see in the night and for them day means nothing, same goes with some people who have never experienced success, so they think such a thing does not exist at all. When I first started making money online, some of the people who knew me said that I chose a wrong field and that I would fail bitterly, since I was a newbie I was apprehensive and scared but I trusted myself ( this is another point, you need to have-- complete trust on yourself) and marched ahead. In the matter of few months I was earning $100 per day, which was beyond anyone's imagination who knew me. It was then they accepted that this field is a phenomenal source of money. Had I listened to my detractors few years back, then by now I would not have been a millionaire and I would be just another middle class guy, who went on a 9 to 5 job and earned enough to fulfill his family's basic needs.
Think and Dream big: What we think, we become. Buddhist saying. If you don't believe this thought, then you have never thought or dreamed big. I must add one more thing here that no matter what dreams we are having, if we have some broken links or path to achieve it then it is certain that the goal is achievable. I just ask you what is holding you back in thinking and dreaming big. There is no harm in doing so. You don't have to pay fees to the government for doing so. Here comes one psychology lesson, if we think or dream a particular thing for a long duration of time then that thing is first of all stored into our brain and then finally it is registered in to our subconscious mind. And once it is registered here, then your brain starts believing that its true. For instance, a child is told since his childhood that Ghosts and spirits don't exist, then no matter what, he will grow up in to guy who will not believe in such things. This is true other way round too. In the same manner, if you start telling yourself that I want to be a billionaire, I have potential to do so and live and sleep with it, then soon the entire universe will conspire to give you tons of ideas to accomplish your dream. Live, walk and sleep with your dreams.... and one fine morning you will wake upand and find that they are accomplished. I have come a long way in my life, from nothing/failure to something and now I dream to be the next big thing. Fly like an eagle daily, you must let your thoughts and dreams soar in the sky until they are not for wrong reasons. Hope the people who read found it beneficial.

I remember an interview with Edison on his many failures before finally inventing the light bulb. He was asked, "How do you feel about the 99 attempts that failed before finally making a working light bulb?" or something to that effect. He answered, " I never failed, it's just that making the light bulb was a 99-step process."
I failed a lot of times but I don't consider myself a failure, I just look at them as part of my learning process.

If anyone wants to see true grit, just look at Charlie Sheen. How many people can be that much of a failure as a human being, and still think they are God's gift to the planet?
