Anybody using No Hands SEO?

You have entered a page profile, whois websites do not accept pages so they will only be used if you are promoting a website profile.

Target lists can be added by going to the "Settings" tab the "Add and Block Lists" Tab. On the right side of this pane you will see an option to choose a profile, browse for your target file and then whether it is blog comments or trackbacks click "Add Targets" and you are done. You can send the links it creates to pinging sites if you wish but you don't NEED to.

No other tool is needed to get the most out of No Hands SEO, it is setup to do everything for you, however it never hurts to get some more easy pings / backlinks. AMR is a great tool if you have some articles to submit or don't mind writing your own.

Thanks Jimbob all is working fine now:D , great support and great service

Hi,

I have been running NHSEO on my VPS for at least a couple of weeks with no problems. Now the app will not load I have attached a screen shot of the error that displays.

Its not a very powerful VPS. But didnt seem to be having problems until the latest upgrades. Could this be down to the size of the database?

Basically the app loads the first splash screen. I click the button to launch the app itself. After a while this screen comes up.

It could be your memory usage, what are the specs of your VPS. The database size is actually quite small compared to some I have seen but if your VPS only has say 1Gb of Ram this could be your problem.

No probs.

OK guys, I am hoping I will get update v1.5 out today which will have the start of the profile handler giving you the ability to set anchor text per page and some other things. After this a lot is going to change, the high memory usage up till this point will be dealt with at either v1.5.x or released as v1.6

The reason for the drop in memory usage will be due to a restructuring of the threading code, also this will have the added benefit of being able to run a single profile at 20 threads or 100 profiles at 10 threads. This will make it easier to get the system running as fast or steady as you want it to regardless of how many profiles you have running.

I am hoping all of this to be completed in the next week or two. I'll keep you guys posted on how it all goes.

Jim,
Great piece of software. Love the ease to set up sites. It's stable and powerful. One of my niches is new and I'm ranking for about 10 keywords (all centered around the area I live and the profession) simply using nohands seo. One is at #1 already after less than a week.

I just uploaded v1.5.1 it fixes your problem and a couple of other bugs. The profile handler is fully up and running with pages and custom comments now, I know a few of you were asking for this feature.

Hi Jim and other NHS users,
My VPS now only have 1TB bandwidth. Should it suffice to run NHS with, say, 20 profiles (each profile is a website, not page, of 1000+ pages) 24/7?

Hi Jim,
I have a question.
I'm using NHS on a last gen 4ghz Intel quad core and since i've updated to 1.5 it appears to use a lot of cpu power (arround 70%).
Although my database is around 600Mb and using 16 profiles at the moment.

Any idea how to reduce cpu usage. ?

Thanks !

1TB should be fine for the month but Im sure others who have experience with running this amount on a VPS would be in a better place to say, 1TB does sound like a lot of bandwidth considering you are only downloading the html of a webpage and never any images or other eye candy from a website.

The CPU usage should only be peaking while searching / inserting as it now searching for unique domain and root domain pages which takes a lot of CPU when comparing against large lists. These options can be turned off in the "Settings" tab. Having said that I am looking at it now as it does seem to use more processor time than it should do.

Just bought your tool Jim. But Plimus said that my order is being reviewed .
It's quite some times since I process my payment through Plimus.
Anyway, this is my transaction ID: 2RD90362C2424060F.
Hope they sort it out quick so I can start using it.

Sorry mate there is nothing I can do until the payment is cleared by plimus. Once it is cleared you will receive your account details almost instantly after receiving notification from plimus that the payment has been cleared. Usually this process is just minutes but I have known it take longer than that.

I have also just uploaded v1.5.2 which fixes the high CPU usage and a couple of other bugs.

@jimbobo2779,

What do you think about adding limit number of trackbacks and blog comments per day. For example, if I set max at 100 for comments, the tool only comments at 100 blogs then stop and wait for next day.

This is coming in the big posting revamp that is going to be v1.6. Your other issue I haven't noticed personally since v1.3.x but I will look into it tonight.

I'm seeing this as well. The software looks quicker, the links are building a lot faster but the CPU usage skyrocketed.

I'm getting 25% CPU power with all the 4 cores working (I7 3.2GHZ), before i was getting 5% CPU power at most, but the memory usage dropped in half (250 MB now), not that 500MB was a lot anyway.

Btw, I'm running 21 profiles.

Anyway, it's an incredible software, i wouldn't be surprised if NHS becomes a must among all IM'ers.

I know there have been a lot of updates this week but I released v1.5.2 a couple of hours ago and this should fix the CPU racing bug. Ive got a bunch of more updates coming this week that should revamp the tool and make it much more controllable and efficient, also memory and CPU usage should be dramatically reduced from what Im seeing so far.

Jim,
Did you read my pm about drip feeding new articles as well to basically make this an all in one product to perpetuate site growth? ;)

Hi Jimbobo,

I know your flooded with requests but I was wondering if you have seen the email I sent to the support email address? The subject is 'advice please'. Has anyone seen this and will I get a reply?

Funnily enough I was just answering it. The thing is I don't really want to comment on your particular situation as it isn't really any of my business to get involved in that. However using NHSEO and AMR with a lot of different keywords there is no reason you shouldn't see an increase in rankings for some of your keywords.

Doing some keyword research to see which keywords have less competition will result in high rankings across many different keywords which should result in higher traffic in less time and more reliable than targetting just a few highly competitive keywords. There are lots of resources on here about how to effectively do your keyword research and what tools are good for this.

OK so I am fighting an up hill battle and I may as well start again. Just as I thought. Thanks.

I don't know what you did but keep it up.

Now i'm barely using 3% CPU power with 23 profiles and 200mb of RAM.
It's much better than before, even before patch 1.5.1.

Thanks a lot jimbobo. Your support is top notch.
