[Motivation]

hi everyone i was wondering do i need knowledge in html css php javascript and stuff like that to be a successful internet marketer or is just knowing wordpress alone enough to be a successful internet marketer by successfull internet markter i mean make a full time living make 200k+. i currently know a little html and i edit my sites in dreamweaver but its not effective for me anymore becasue i dont really know. and does anyone know where to learn wordpress. thank you guys.

Wordpress is the best, and its all i use. Its quite easy to use and learn.. best way is to watch videos on youtube. Thats how i learnt.

If you want to learn something, just google it!

In this day and age you can literally find anything you want for your website just by looking for it, from code to implement iFrames (random example) to more advanced things like creating your own php/Mysql integrated website from scratch (another random example, not even sure what that means exactly XD ) with all the tutorials around.

Go to w3schools.com and spend the few hours it takes to learn html and basic css. They're invaluable if you work on the internet. Even if you don't end up designing your own pages you should at least understand the basics.

I totally agree w/Autumn. W3 is great. OP: I have limited coding experience too (basic HTML), and I have done just fine with WordPress. YouTube has a lot of great videos on how to use Wordpress and the web host you use may as well (I know HostGator and a few others does).

I am making money each month with my limited coding knowledge, Wordpress and persistence. Work hard and the money will follow!

WP will do. Whether adsense will make you "successful" is up to you and what you are shooting for. I have WP adsense sites FWIW...

It helps to know a bit of CSS and HTML, even if you just use a Wordpress theme, but I don't think you necessarily have to be a full-on site designer to be a good IMer.

It just helps you out when it comes to minimizing overhead and being able to design a site if your freelancers decide to abandon a project.

I have found that understanding php, css, html, and java are essential to webdesign even for internet marketing.

There are so many times I've wanted to move something, remove something, or change something that required some testing on my part even knowing code.

I would be lost without knowing. If something goes wrong you have to call an expert.

I learned from lynda.com. I have a continuing subscription and love their service.

I love to use dreamweaver to edit wordpress because I just fix whatever I need in the code i'ts much faster than using editor to me.

Also it seems like all templates these days are not easy to completely customize unless you know code.

#1. Learning Wordpress is NOT what will make you money in internet Marketing, you need to know Internet Marketing to make money in Internet Marketing,

#2. If you know how to login in cpanel and use Fantastico to install Wordpress you good to go. The Methods, creativity, persistence , dedication, split testing, encouragement from others and the courage to never give up when you fail at one thing , is what you REALLLY need to succeed in Internet Marketing
