This method will work but you are better off just 301 redirecting the whole site to the main site. Rinse and repeat (ie build another site and get backlinks to it, you can even contact the same webmasters who gave you a link in the first place ) By cloaking the search bots you really are playing with fire. It is not as simple as just checking google is in the useragent.
