Just wanted to hear some other people's opinions.
Will Google+ really be an end to Facebook and Twitter?

Google can take its share of users by the aid of the applications or games. I am not a big fan of FB games but recently i started playing Sims, and it's awful, getting stuck very often, it's very slow. But i like the game. I surely open an account on Google+ for a good game.
A better gaming platform would definitely give a big boost to google+, but i agree that it would take quite a while for google+ to dominate facebook. Facebook would really have to drop the ball. Facebook did conquer over MySpace pretty quickly sometime ago and i guess it's possible for google to do the same over facebook, but at the moment it just seems a bit far fetched.
I can't see it happening any time soon. I've played about with G+ and though it has some nice features, there's nothing there that makes me want to make the switch. With it still being in beta it's hard to find any members I know there yet.
Facebook seem to be digging their heels in as far is porting people over. Not sure if the Yahoo mail trick still work, but not being able to easily find your FB friends over there is surely off-putting to a lot.

I doubt Google+ can overtake facebook or twitter. In my opinion I view Google+ as a experiment for google, to get social networking right. Once they do it they'll come out with something more innovative. That's what I think at least. It could very well do some damage to Facebook though.

Not for a long time.fb has a lot of things g+ does not have they have a real long way to go. Maybe since it is str8 feed for now it will give it a leg up and cause youtube but to see it be fb not likely in the near future

Nothing lasts forever in the internet. One day mysapce was unstoppable the next day Facebook is #1.
I'm not saying it could happen tomorrow but 3-4 years from now who knows who will be on top.

That may be true, but as of right now, Google+ is relatively
unknown to the public in comparison to Facebook and Twitter.

That will be changed for sure, people spread news about facebook, and every body knows that, facebook have 800milion users, thats not even half of the world. where are othere peoples ? Anyway facebook will never be in front of google, google is mother, they just failed couple of time with their social networks, but this google + have a big potentional and it's already big competition on fb. thx

MySpace got overtaken by Facebook for two reasons. 1. Rampant security issues coupled with a lack of a savvy user-base, 2. Profile customization that rendered the usability of the site virtually impossible. I remember having some friends that would take well over 10 minutes for the page to fully load, on a modern top of the line PC.
There was already a disgruntled userbase on MySpace, Facebook just came in to fill the void and provide a more professional and mature alternative to social networking. Facebook's security has been a HUGE issue recently, and I think G+ was attempting to capitalize on that, but FB has done a very good job at addressing all the security concerns and pushing massive user education campaigns.
