Yahoo Contributor- how much can I scale this newb method?

So, I finally made some money online thanks to BHW. The method was deadly simple and Im worried that I'm about to fuck it all up by scaling this shit 10x over.

Here's all I did:

Got the 7 day free trial for The Best Spinner
Got an article from ezine article's
Spun it
Submitted it to yahoo contributor
Got paid $4.43 for it

Now, even though I spun it I did add some actually unique content and beaf'd it up a little bit. So it wasn't just spun and submitted.

Can I do this over and over again? Did I get lucky or will this work for 50 articles a day? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Noobs, get out there and make some money.

AC is the way i started out making money online.

im not sure about 50/day, but more like 10 is doable if working at it like a full time job. if you keep them being quality articles, not auto-spun junk, you can pretty much expect 3-5 each as long as you can pump them out.

good way to make some fast cash with no investment, but making your own site with them will make you much more returns in the long run. in my experience the recurring passive views are garbage with AC

Thanks man, but what do you mean by making your own site? Do you mean write the articles and point links to your money site? Or can you make some sort of site with yahoo contributor?

yes, you could use AC as a "web 2.0" of sorts by sneaking some backlinks to your site in there. but they usually dont really like that unless its specifically supporting a fact in the article or an internal link to another AC article.

what i ment was, AC is simply a middle man. they pay you upfront for content as a gamble that they will make that back and more from the ads they place on the page.

making your own little site targeted to "how to tile a floor" (or whatever) that gets ranked even poorly in the SERPs will get you more money in the long run then selling out those few dosen articles to AC. but of course requires more knowledge/time/money on your part.

cut out the middle man and you'll pull down double the profits. even just copying their template throwing up some adsense should easily get you $2-5 per 1000 views on most any topic (more agressive ads and cpc topics will give even more). compared to the $1.50/1000 you get on yahoo.

How long does it normally take for your article to get approved? Have you ever done any spinning of articles or all original stuff? Am I safe rewriting 20-30 articles a day?

its always pretty slow, 1-2 weeks at least. i never write 'original' stuff from scratch. always spun or mixed things from other sources.

you are 'safe' writing as many articles a day as you can. you wont be banned for submitting any number of articles that is within human reason, so long as they are unique and readable...

the thing is, creating (and submitting) more then a dozen a day takes alot of work. realistically, those 20-30 articles are going to take you a good 8-10 hours of hard work.

I recently sold all the rights to my eHow articles to DM for a lump sum, but to keep getting reoccurring payments I took all my articles from eHow and rewrote them before submitting to AC. Now I am getting performance payments again for the same articles.

All this is true, but he's still gotta get the traffic to his own site, which is hard when you're starting out. Especially in a competitive niche.

yup, that is their business model. buy content off of bloggers/writers who dont know how or dont have the ability to turn it into their own site.

Anybody have any idea on why they did not make me an offer and just published the next 5 articles I submitted? I submitted for up front payment and they just published them without making me an offer.
