That was probably some kind of dream, or something between dream and reality, search for lucid dreaming, astral projection and stuff like that, there's lot of interesting things to read.
I've had many similar experiences (only once or twice with a thing that looked like ghost, but that was not a dream), and I simply enjoy in them as I know nothing will happen to me

Anyone who does suffer from sleep paralysis (there's a few in this thread), the easiest way to deal with it is remember that everything you are experiencing is a product of your own mind and can't hurt you. Generally, people "feel" things pressing down on them because they can't feel themselves breathing (I often felt like I was breathing "out of rhythm" with myself, like I was going to asphyxiate).

Instead of freaking out, clear your mind and imagine yourself drifting freely up and away, or imagine a calming scene and placing yourself in the middle of it. Both of these techniques will send you back into a peaceful dreaming state. The best part is that you will usually experience a "lucid dream" in which you can do pretty much whatever you want consciously.

Yeah like I believe I said earlier in the thread it wasn't a dream, I awoke from my dream and was in the middle of sleep paralysis but over top of me was the thing forcing me down, I have had lucid dreaming before I know what that is and am also aware of astral projection.. as we all are one in this 'world'

Glad to hear you have had a similar experience, yeah definitely not a dream I was awake like you, it was scary when it was happening but as soon as it was disappearing I was able to situp and the fear subsided, for about a minute or two I had a very strange sensation in my body like an eerie feeling but it passed pretty quickly.. not sure if it was adrenaline or not felt different then when I have an adrenaline rush.

dude this shit happened to cousin a few years back . like no fucking joke , its really tripping me out right now to cause he saw the same exact fucking thing , he used to rant on about how he saw an old man , that looked like the old wizard from harry potter , in his room , i didn't believe him for sooo long ..a few weeks later he passed away it was dreadful his parents told me he would scream every night as if he were getting beaten .. they told me sometimes he would wake up with bruises too. i would be careful if i were you bro , not to get you scared.

When I was growing up, I lived in a house that was owned in the 20's to 50's by a good friend of Alister Crowley. I had the same thing happen to me as well but the man would talk to me and tell me things about the house. He told me that he was a magical being and to tell my Mom & Dad not remodel his house or things would be bad for us for a long time. He said something about reopened portals.

I told them this and they said "yeah right". To make the long story short. For 10 years we suffered with demons and ghost in our house.

It's in Akron, Ohio on one of the oldest streets in the city.

You have a Ghost living in your house and he's trying to communicate with you! Ask him what he wants, nicely!

I don't believe in ghosts, but I can agree that you had a bizarre, out of the ordinary experience. If you have sleep paralysis and other problems like that, then I would suggest seeing a doctor and getting some help. A lot of people think they see ghosts, when their is little evidence to support those sorts of claims. I think what you need to do is chill out, relax, and really reflect on any alternative explanation for your experiences. When I was younger, I had similar experiences; and since I believed in ghosts at the time, and had a hyperactive imagination, I would start sweating and getting crazy thinking I saw a ghost. Maybe I did, but I can't say for sure.

I used to have sleep parylisis where an old demonic women would try to suck energy out of me,during the dream. But it ended when in my dream I imagined I would let it attack me,but I would then grab it by the neck and choke it for a few minutes. After I did that I no longer had this dream.

My friend had a very similar experience and it freaked him out the same as it was the first time anything like that ever happened to him. After searching online for an answer we came across this site www. beyond-within . com - and spoke with the woman who ran it. She did a energy scan on him and found that he had an entity that attached itself to his mind to feed off his emotions/energy as if it were food. He later got it cleared by that same lady and the day she did he he felt amazing and hasn't had any problems since. I had the same lady take a look at my energy field and she found some issues there and healed/cleared them on the astral/spiritual level. There are a lot of FAKE psychics & frauds out there but I must say that this lady is the real deal, she was able to tell me things about myself that I never told anyone. I'd highly suggest you get a scan done by her, it's only $8 and she'll tell you exactly what is going on.

i was having a dream i was over a friends house and he was about to go eat then something happened and other people were in the room and some kind of fight happened and i totally fucked someone up like doing some crazy shit i threw her out the window after she attacked me and then like with my mind lifted her back up into the building and then sucked her into the foundation of the house under it.. (this is not the wierd part) then my friend is like ok lets get something to eat almost after this chick started going into the foundation between the wall i started feeling a pull on me and she got sucked in then i made my way to my friend who was telling me lets go get something to eat he was standing in a door arch and i was like i cant something is pulling on me and i was struggling to get to him.. this woke me up.. and right in front of my eyes was this like white colored gray bluish colored thing that i can only describe to be a ghost or a spirit there was a hand sticking into my chest and the thing was pushing me into the bed i couldn't move the hand movement was so real pushing me down battling the ways i was trying to move to get up and it was a guy looking at me with long white curly but silky looking beard and had some kind of like pirate or cowboy hat i was trying to get up for like 5-10 seconds like wtf is going on i started getting scared i kept going and it just like evaporated or something and i was sitting up.. now i am here writing this.. it was not part of the dream i was out of the dream in my bed and there was this thing over me for real and i managed to situp i was scared when it was happening but after i managed to get up i was not scared anymore. i had to share with some people it is like 1am here and no one is up.

i have had the whole paralyses thing before in bed where you wakeup and can't move but ive never ever seen anything after waking up sitting there staring at me like that it was so real and definetly not something i dreamt i was awake (like the part where u wakeup and then are stuck in bed and cant move) after sitting up computer was right next to me and i turned it on n went straight here and typed this.. thoughts? you might call me crazyy right now i know, but people often do when they are faced with something they can't really comprehend an answer to and brush it off as the person being crazy someone leave me a response please.

so you can awake from a dream and still be in a dream? i was definitely awake with the sleep paralysis, i knew what was happening to me as clear as i type this message, after reading it has happened to other people and they all have very similar experiences oddly enough the entity are always old, people brush it off as being fake because it doesn't make sense for spirits / demons to be real but maybe there is more to the picture that we just can't comprehend we are surrounded by alternate dimensions but just because we can't comprehend them doesn't mean they aren't there..

i think the experiences are pretty much done with and don't think it will happen again but i could be wrong i guess time will tell.
