Finally made my first sale on Clickbank. 22 dollars. I had 210 hops to get 1 sale. It comes out to .11 cents a click. Not bad I guess. It didn't take that long actually and I got all my traffic from Legit CL ads. I used only one account and just posted in a different city each time about 4 0r 5 days apart and it was after the third post that I made this sale.

Now I need to scale up on CL.

Good to hear. Might try some different offers as well with a higher conversion rate. Although honestly they are pretty difficult to find, and your conversion rate is actually better than most.

Yeah that's not too shabby for your first sale. It's a great feeling when you make your first sale! Keep working at it and mix up the offers and you will find a strategy that works for you. Congratulations!
 
Do CL allow such links? A lot of my posts gets flagged and removed even before I have a chance!
 
I am an affiliate. I only advertised one ad in two cities and got one sale. I'm in the process of making a similar site and am also going to try a cl posting service. He quoted me 2 dollars per ad. I am providing the ads and links. I posted again in the same two cities today and the cl service posted for me in two other cities as a sample.

The first ad went up this morning, the second this afternoon and the third and fourth this evening around 5. As of midnight I had 185 uniques with 50 hops. no sales.

No flagging yet. I link to my site I built and I made it look really corporate like so far not flags.

I did get ghosting but through trial and error I think I nailed it down to content. I was using one word over and over and I changed that and rewrote everything and finally go them to stick.

I had actually taken a break after the first two ads because everything was being ghosted. But then I read a post on here about testing and troubleshooting so I decided to start eliminating words, and changing elements until I found one that stuck.

Ok so here we are, its however long since my first post. I did two more CL ads in the same cities as the first which would be my second week I guess.

so, first week I put up two CL ads and got around 200 hops and sold 1 made 22.00

second week, I put up two CL ads in same city maybe only 100 hits and no sale in addition I had someone list in two other cities but they only lasted 24hrs. Altogether I got less than 200 and no sale.

In the end of 3rd week and begininng of 4th I am going to post 50 ads. I only expect them to be up for 24 hours. We shall see how it goes. I will definetly keep the updates coming.
 
ok well still no sales from the ads I mentioned in my last post. I am getting ready to go for 50 ads next friday. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks

Hey bro, I would say no. until you see money you haven't made a real sale.
 
thanks for the info- I have been thinking about putting some clickbank links on cl
-I was going to keep it simple- put link in cl ad to wp site and have link for cb offer in wp site-
I can always rotate the wp links- and dish out about 10-15 ads
I'll give it shot-

I think you need to check alot of variables. you can't list an affiliate link, you have to make it look official.
 
@Mihai Did you promote a free download product? Cause it seems, your visitors went all through the process, but it didn't cost them anything.

Another Update:

well I made another sale!! so I thought that I got nothing out of the last CL ads but then one trickles in. My stats actually went up. So now i'm at 313 hops @ .15 cents per hop with 156 hops per order. 5 hops per order impression with 67 order form impressions. My conversion is 2.99

Ok so this friday I am going to launch 25 ads and then monday 25 more we will see what happen. C u soon!!
