You mean I post one comment then I change my IP and rate that comment with 5 different accounts. Does it bring the comment to the top? Or if I rate that comment with 5 different accounts and 5 different IPs then it will bring it to the top?

It all depends on how you posted the comment.
If you posted it manually, it makes no difference whether the ratings are from different IPs. It will go to the top.
If you posted automatically, you need a new IP for every single rating, otherwise it will won't go to the top.
Keep in mind that no matter what if you overdue the ratings on a single IP they will remove all ratings from that IP. I did this last night and rated 10 manual comments with about 300 ratings all in all from the same IP. The comments are still there but all of the ratings got removed. (The actual thumbs ups got removed, I'm not just talking about its position)

Noticed update too. I use 2:1 ratio accounts to private proxies with yta. Commenting didn't changed for me, most of them appear using a good Spintax.
But voting I have the same problem like you all, big traffic drop

YouTube that fuckin bitch. Why can't they just make it easy for us internet marketers?
Anyway, we are well aware of this glaring issue and we're working very hard to see what YTA can do to fix this. We could really use some intelligent suggestions to tweak YTA.
Bottom line is, we're going to make it work. If manually logging into youtube and voting the comment works then we can do it with YTA.
A patch will be released Monday MLA time. That's Sunday night to you all Westerners.
If you have some cool idea to bypass this/work around this/ new feature that will make it work, let me know. I'll closely monitor this thread.
P.S.
Don't be alarmed. YouTube has done several big updates in the past year and YTA always came out on top. I only ask for your patience while we're resolving this.
Another edit:
I failed to realize that we came out with an update with commenting today. It's the comment voting that really concerns me as my basic tests doesn't show a change. Must be another sneaky youtube algorithm. I'll update you once I know more!

This account I used was also used for automatic commenting, maybe you use a fresh account?!
Nope it still works for me. Manual commenting + auto voting works. Auto commenting + auto voting does not. So the change appears to be within the commenting... (using unique ip for each vote though)
arghh, just realised it could of just been showing at the top because it was posted with my ip.

Have you tried that? I can't even manual voteup a usual comment from another user(each vote: no cookies and flashcookies, new account/private proxy).
It seems like youtube saved my accounts/Ips in some kind of blacklist.

Yeah I manually rated changing IPs every time and they won't stick to the top.
Youtube is owned by google, they probably did the same thing they did with their search engine with some confusing as shit algorithm

thats not true, i used tube bot to auto rate some test comments auto rating still works as long as you don't overdo it. After some more ratings(think about 60)from the same ip all my comments had their ratings removed.
It may seem that way, even when you change IPs your comments appear to be on the top. They get removed after an hour or two regardless of overdoing it or not.
I tested this with 30 fresh IPs I just bought and only rated one comment.
