why are you asking for money on a site like this, where asking for donations is akin to begging in the street?? i do not think it is allowed on this forum..

it's something all bit miners do. it's akin to asking someone here to hit the thanks button if you were helpful to them. :p

start thinking about a bank to deposit your money into after you send a donation, that is if you have a mining setup config. :)

I started this post to find other miners, however it seems new to most.

I dont understand this post - can you send a link with explanations on this ? Started the software as well... 40k blocks now.

This Bitcoin mining sounds cool as hell...I'm going to look more into this and start mining too. When I get started or need help I will be hitting you up grizzly..

this is bloody greek to me! even my wife speaks simpler language! LOL
I can have this running on 15 pcs day in and day out! but i just cant get my head around it!

how much would 74k blocks convert into? in usd? i need some serious snoop feeding

I dont understand how you actually make any money from bitcoin? who actually pays you?

other people pay cash for it or you can buy items with it. last time i checked onne bitcoin is worth $17.

It seems as if in the last 48 hours, bitcoin currency or coins went from being worth $28 a coin down to $15, that is a huge drop in 48 hours. I dont see how this can hang on and who designates how much a coin is worth? How would you even know if the price is going to rebound and and up back at $28?

yeah it's pretty crazy but interesting as well. it will indeed go up again. in just the last few days it has risen from $17 (that was the price on thursday I believe) to $28. now it's down to $15.

supply and demand. if more people are selling it into the market. it's going to cost less. if more people are buying from the people supplying, it's costing more.

where do you find a bitcoin miner? or is that just in the regular bitcoin program? they said it wasnt on the download page, although the block number in the bitcoin program is going up. Does that mean it is mining?

There's people out there with ~300,000 bitcoins. Do a G search for "The Bitcoin Triples Again"

How is the price designation calculated?
To clarify, the price is not designated by any central body. It is like the price of anything you buy or the price of one currency in another- the price is determined by what the market is willing to pay for it.

Does anyone know of hosting companies that offer servers with decent graphic cards? I am interested in this but don't want to turn my house into a giant heater.

Where would you sell bitcoins? Where would you use this currency to buy products?

Sorry also can you give me the specs of your machines and how many you have of them?
