OP, I felt the same way when I first came here and didn't think most folk were being helpful at all. But I noticed when they saw me taking the initiative and actually applying what was available to me, they were more than willing to help me.

Then I started to get it and began to make $$. But I made the fatal mistake of putting all my eggs in the YT basket and since have gone belly up.

Yep, busted! So now I'm just like you...again. So now I got two choices.

1) Hang it up.
2) Hit the search button and see what else I can try.

Hang in there and keep trying, as for me I need to start searching again...

But i think you should not view BHW as a place where you will receive all the know how in the world on how to make a buck.

BUT this place is a gold mine of information.

You wont find IDEAS here, but you will find HOW TO, you just need to mix what you find with your own brand of idea.

You're not going to get anyone trying to "prove" to you that they make money online, as if they somehow owe you that much. I don't make as much as I'd like, but I make more than most. I'm content with that.

For what it's worth, there are many people on this site with whom I have worked that have made money WITH me, so not only do I know THEY make money, but they also know that I make money.

You've come across like a jerk for a good portion of this thread, but I don't think you meant to. I think you're just frustrated.

Don't worry. We've all been there many times. I didn't make a dime online for almost 19 months when I started trying. Nobody would spoon-feed me anything. I didn't understand half of what people were saying. Everything I thought I was trying seemed to fail. I endured that shit for over a year and a half and didn't have ONE FUCKING PENNY to show for it.

You've only been on here for a month. Don't worry. If you actually stick with it, you'll be fine, but it takes work ... a LOT of work to get started.

How do I get affiliates to push my product? I can find some schmos, but what about REAL, actual good affiliates? Seems you have to know the "right people"?

This takes patience. While you're a "n00b," you're not going to attract the attention of the homerun hitters. You've got to build your business up over time.

Eventually, they'll take notice, and they'll want to deal with YOU. They'll reach out to you, but only when you prove yourself.

#1. If you go in thinking it won't make money, you won't try as hard to make money, because you're already working with the mindset that your efforts are futile.

#2. You admit that you "dont know how [you] will make money off that." This is a good place to start, so before you consider anything else, you need to look at this for a bit. This is the crawling, and the actual marketing of a page is the walking. Gotta crawl before you can walk.

Have I made money online? Yes. Was it much to even impact my life? No. Not really. I made about 115 dollars.

Don't give a shit about revealing this method, coz ive got more than one poker in the IM fire and that website is not targetted to particularly one niche.

Don't lower them altogether. Just recognize that it's going to take scaling.

You will start out by working very, very hard and making very, very little.

If you stick with it, keep learning, and keep TAKING ACTION, you will end up working very, very little and making very, very good money.

My first day making money, it was less than $10 (as I recall, it was $5 and some change). After several years, I've now had a couple four-figure days. They're not steady, but they're there. The key is, it took a ton of work and enduring failure after failure to get to that point.

To this day, I don't know HOW all these fuckers are good at SEO. I tried that shit multiple times, and I failed every ... damn ... time.

I tried YouTube marketing. Failed.

I tried blog marketing. Failed.

I tried Facebook marketing. Failed.

I tried PPC. Failed, AND cost me a couple hundred bucks.

I tried bum marketing, and I didn't even make money with THAT.

In the words of the greatest American basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan:

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

He's right. If you're not failing, then you're not trying hard enough. Most marketers who hit it big fail more often than they succeed.

If you want to make BIG money, and I promise you that you can, you'd better be ready to fail your ass off. Because you're going to fail over and over and over again, but if you keep trying ... if you get through the failure ... you'll eventually succeed.

Recent statistics have shown that you are correct. But guess what? Those 99% usually quit trying way too quickly. They want to start seeing big money immediately. I told a fellow BHW member the other day, Internet marketing is not a sprint. It's a marathon. If you want to be successful, you'd better be willing to commit to the long haul.

That's the proper perspective. Nobody here will make you money, and nobody will spoon feed you.

And believe it or not, you'll be better off in the long term, because you will have developed your own knowledge and skill sets because of it.
