I've noticed that my BF has somehow secretly stopped me from seeing his comments on other FB profiles. They no longer update on his feed and yet I know he comments on other profiles. I can see the comments he makes on my page on on groups, just not on any profiles.

How did he do this?

Baffled.

first....why do you care? do you not trust him? if so, being able to see his comments won't fix this....do you check his emails too? and his texts? always check up on him?

you are in no way obligated to answer those, just food for thought...

you can block stuff pretty custom. i don't let my aunt see my status updates. its in settings...

I appear to have touched a nerve. LOL

No, I don't snoop at all. I just find it odd. Why would you do that to a partner in a relationship? Bizarre.

Can you be specific with how to do this?

Just to clarify . . . I can see his updates. I just can't see the updates on his feed that are related to when he comments or likes posts on other feeds.

LOL

He wouldn't be stupid enough to cheat and post about it openly on FB. I just think it seems fishy. And I'm curious how he's done it.

Any intelligent advice?

i think your name says it all......

You can check all my comments if you like... not just on FB.

haha well....lets not get off topic. are you sure he did it to you? he could have done it to everyone cause he didn't wana start drama with you/friends.

edit - ok maybe you can't do that, are you sure he isn't just manually deleting them? cause you can do that

Lol, you can put people into groups and manage privacy settings under the account settings.

Well . . . I'm not sure if the comment updates are visible to other people or not. They are, however, definitely visible to him. I noticed them over lunch today when we were sat having coffee. It just struck me as very odd. I think anyone with any ounce of decency would agree. After all, why hide stuff like that? Weird.

So, all I can tell you is this: it's visible to him but not to be when I view his profile. I only see the updates of the comments he makes on my wall.

Yea, what? Privacy settings, different privacy settings for different groups. Maybe you are in a group of your own. Maybe he included everyone under the same settings...

what is this

Here, read this http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/mar/08/facebook-us-divorces

Now onto you'r little problem. Like crashed said ahe probably added you to a group and just setup privacy settings to the way he wants you to see everything.
This does not mean at all that he is cheating or doing something wrong. The problem here MIGHT(and i stress this MIGHT) be you.... Are you overly protective? Do you question him on every other post he makes to friends, even girls... Do you nag him about what he does.... these type of things are what make even loyal relationships have their set limits. Try thinking all this over and if you still don't get why he did it, question him about it. Their is nothing else you can really do unless you get his pswd and start stalking his accounts....

Thanks for the info.

The thing is, I actually do none of those things. I'm the most easy going woman going. I'm not a crazy jealous type. I don't care what he does when I'm not around. I just found it bizarre and it got me curious on how to do it.

Trying to figure out how to do this now. Would actually love to know to block some family members from seeing the stuff i write.

Google is your friend =-]

So now, once you figured out how to do what he's doing, why don't you do the same? put him in a group and limit him to see what only you want him to see. Trust me if he is interested in you and cares, he will realize what you have done and will also start thinking what you are thinking. That might kill your relationship or it actually might make it stronger, cause you both will talk about this situation and come to some type of resolution.

That's lovely of you - thank you! I'm just going to read the link through and figure it out. I'm not really bothered about limited him but I'd love to limit what the family sees of my stuff!!
