Cheating Adsense

Has anyone ever heard of or experienced someone's account being shut down or someone having legal charges brought against them for cheating with Google Adsense? Say with multiple proxies clicking links every so often or another exploit.

I would never resort to this personally however I'm interested in any stories about it.

You will get your account shut down instantly.I have never heard about legal charges, though. And you know what, cheating adsense is not blackhat is fraud. They have highly competitive filters in order to detect your invalid clicks. Think just that your clicks will not bring any conversion. Blackhatting adsense does not mean click fraud.

google bans you very fast for invalid clicks. Keep this in mind. You know what is the main driving force behind adsense security? Conversions. This is the word. If your visitors do NOT convert, then google adsense will bust your ass, smartprice first and after that ban.No matter how many proxies you use. Whenever you hear stories about people who were COMPLETELY innocent and still got banned from adsense, this is not bullsh1t. The reasons they got banned is that their visitors did not convert. Simple as that. They might have been legit visitors, but if they do not convert, your ass is on fire. Keep this in mind whenever you want to cheat adsense. You can cheat and generate impressions, proxies, ctr you can bypass their algortihm. But there is one think you can not cheat. And this is conversions. If you send them crap traffic, they will bust your ass sooner or later.No matter if you have involved click fraud or not. That s why is almost impossible to cheat adsense.

Blackhatting adsense?
I exposed one way of blackhatting it using the referals scheme. There are other ways that involve increasing your ctr or increasing your cpc. But never invalid clicks. Google does not need to explain you why they ban. If they feel that you cheat them, the visitors do not convert, they will ban you, without even thinking to find how you generate invalid clicks.
Adsense is a business, and you have to play according to their rules.

They have tracking tools that track click and impressions, you have to realize that Google will protect their cash cow till the end. If they have happy advertisers they have billions in their account. That is their bread and butter, do not screw with their bread and butter and you will be fine.

Exactly, that's just good business practice. So it seems account removal and suspension are the usual punishments for this activity. I expected to hear of some legal action in absurd cases of cheating the system!

I can't imagine how much Google "stealed" from the banned accounts especially for the blackhatters.

No, unless I'm mistaken he means % of visitors who click on the ad.
If your target is crap you won't get people to click (convert). For example, if your page is about ring tones :yuck: and your visitors are coming from a dog and cat forum, they'll be unlikely to convert. You get the traffic but nobody clicks on the ringtone ads because they have no interest.

I understand, however how can this burden be put upon the user? Couldn't this just be the poor decision of a bad marketer? Does it warrant punishment?

Instead of taking back money already paid to the publishers they should check for conversions before they payout...instead of being bullies

When they see that your visitors do not convert, i mean no benefit from advertisers, no purchase, no sale, etc... they will smartprice you , giving you a lower cpc. If your visitors do not convert at a large scale, they will ban you, saying invalid clicks.

Wait a sec....I'm no pro at this but how would Google know this? I click a link that takes me to a site that sells vitamins. Google knows where I came FROM when I clicked the ad and they obviously know what site I went to AFTER I clicked the ad. What you're saying is that they know what I've done once I'm on this site?

And what if they go from site A to site B and there is nothing to purchase or convert at either site? Blog to blog for example?
