Quick question, in my case the URL I want to boost in google, actually is an article URL from articlesbase, not a separate domain. I was #1 for my keyword now I'm #4 and I want to get back to top spot. How would I use this service in this case? Would I have to write another article, which has links to my AB article?

Considering the recent Google algorithm change, i would say it'd be best to use a different article. However, we DO spin before we post unless you tell us not to, so it's up to you.
GOOGLE DANCE NEWSFLASH
For anyone wondering why their rankings suddenly dropped right after we posted, that is entirely normal and your rankings should come back stronger within a few days to a week. If not, please PM me and I'll look into it.
Try to remember that we are posting to a ton of indexed blogs that get crawled fast, so when Google sees so many new pages relevant to your keyword, they have to re-rank everything and it causes the "dance", i.e. a shifting of the ranking of pages. This is scary at first, but when your site comes back and is higher than it was before, you will be happy you went black hat
