Man Talk about a crappy month!

These stats are from my autoblogs...

Conversions really suck.

Might be a lot of spiders, but it can't be all spiders.

Any other autobloggers have stats like these?

I'm stood at 13434 clicks with 9 sales on Amazon.

I've noticed that with the autoblogging method we both use (shezblogging) that the clicks tend to be higher than normal however I've never had as big a gap as that.

If it makes you feel better I'm currently running at half my Adsense earnings compared to what I've been getting for the the last 6-8 months. I think I've been hit by the Google Algo change however I'm still investigating.

why is twitter and amazon a bad deal because of the cookie length?

I also have more than 10000 and zero sales. I think the quality of traffic is really bad

mine in general is 150 clicks 2 laptop sales => $50 profit. It depends on how targetted your traffic is.

The quality of your traffic means everything when it comes to making sales with Amazon.

My stats looked like that when I was testing shezblogging. Not to say I didn't get conversions, but the quality of traffic from twitter leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.

Once I started focusing on developing targeted traffic to the few amazon sites I have, traffic was a lot lower, but conversions went through the roof.

In one amazon account, there were 1,905 clicks but only 14 sales. I think the issue with Amazon is the cookie duration. If the cookie duration had been for an extended period of time like 30 days, many would have been recording huge affiliate commissions.

I totally agree. My shez blogs had tons of "clicks" but very very few sales.
My micro niche sites have far fewer clicks, but a much higher conversion rate.

I do agree with targeting more specific followers on twitter, but there is no real exact way to know for sure, people are there for social reasons. You can only try to get targeted followers, and make your accounts seem as natural as possible.

I think that the cookie for amazon sucks, unless you have a compulsive buyer or must have in the next 24hrs product.

I am in the process of trying to find affiliate programs through CJ that i can use with WPR and hopefully the cookie will be 30 days or longer.

Dionysus, any tips on how you got more targeted traffic, was it from twitter or search engines or what?

Most of my traffic comes from search engines. I'll target a set of keywords, find products that are related, and write articles (or have articles written) for those keywords and link to the products within the article body.

Not hard, just time consuming if you do it all yourself. Pays well though.

yeah got thirty shezblog and they are not converting well compared to manual blog.

Ziloo are your sites autoblogs that get traffic from twitter or just regular websites with traditional article writing and unique content?

Traffic from social networks is the worst, if you are willing to sell stuff...

thanks you................ you guys are giving me great ideas.... if amazon fail try to monetize with other thing ;)

but I am with some problems ranking my autoblogs...
or I mean...

get traffic from google or search engines I think they dont rank my autoblogs... maybe autoblogs are hard to rank?!

so tell me guys, you are getting traffic from big G in yours autoblogs at this moment?

only time i push amazon is during the thanksgiving threw new years season, rest of the year the duration of the cookie is depression, but during that holiday time period the cookie duration dont even matter.!

most probably the quality of the traffic is poorest. Target some good keywords in SEO or other advertising campaigns.
