Yes.. comparing me to someone who intentionally drove drunk twice. That is VERY similar to this..
I just find it very hard to let things go.. I don't care how small or how big they are.. I don't let grudges/little things go. I'm not plotting a murder or asking for opinions of what you think of me, I'm asking for ideas or some little registry tricks.
Old grandmother who happens to give me accommodation? I only put up with her and stay here because I can't stand living and rotting my life away in that tiny brick shack of an apartment out in the country at my mom's and I have no where else to go. Plus, my room mate (best friend) lives here. Trust me.. if you'd know this old hag, you'd do the exact same thing. The only reason she accommodates me is because I'm helping pay off her mortgage.
If I was making enough to afford my own house.. I would be there. Since she thought it was hilarious when the internet was out and she wouldn't make the phone call to check up on things, I just want her to know how hilarious it is to not have access to her online business. I would've called myself.. but Time Warner won't tell me a thing without knowing the account owner's Social Security number, at least that's what I was told.
I'm just pissed off because things were starting to go according to plan for once and then all of a sudden the internet just shuts off and she found that just great fun and hilarious.
'...You are wasting time on petty things. Let it go, rise above it, stay focused and move on.
This is not the behaviour of a successful person or a millionaire. To become rich you must take on the habits and behaviour of rich people, as though you are already mega-wealthy.
You
MUST change your attitude and bulldoze your way to riches leaving all these minor irritations cast aside in your wake.
When I was your age, (About the same time Dinosaurs still roamed the Earth), I lived the millionaire lifestyle...or so people thought. I was generous and still am. I give more than I receive. I did favours and if people offered to pay, I would refuse like I had tons of money...and guess what? The money flowed, and flowed and flowed and it still does.
I am the annoying guy that gets upgraded to first-class when flying. Not the guy behind me who looks and behaves likes a loser complaining he can't have a window-seat.
I once missed my British Airways flight from Phoenix to London. Not really my fault as I had flown in from Las Vegas and hadn't realised there was a one hour time difference. Rather than kick-off, I kept my impeccable British manners and guess what?...British Airways booked me on a flight the following day, paid for a hotel for me AND provided me with a limmo and driver who took me to the Mall for shopping.
Had I wanted revenge on British Airways or been mean, they probably would have thought, "Screw you!"...and left me to pay for everything.
Jeez I could teach you so much about how to handle people. The most important is to get what YOU want and if you've got to suck up every now and then DO IT! Arrogance, when you have nothing to be arrogant about, is not the way.
Only trying to help. Keep your testosterone/agression in check and sweet-talk grandma. I would have her tamed and purring like a kitten.
Forget revenge. Start being nice to the bitch!
