Hello

I am not sure if a lot of you guys are already aware of this trick, but I felt to post it here as may be a lot of you are still not aware of it.

Here is the trick:

Lets say your gmail id is : [email protected]
now any mail sent to following will go in your inbox.
[email protected] (you can use as much DOTS as you wish to and at any location within this id before @ sign)
[email protected] (any number can be used between + and @)

Means your one Gmail account acts as millions of gmail accounts.
People creating account on twitter, FB or any other forum can register using these ids and verification email will hit one gmail inbox.

by the way

you can also replace @gmail.com with @googlemail.com
and with this one the dots and the numbers will still work and all emails will hit to your real gmail account.

Thanks

Thanks for that.. but before posting u should use search option.. it was posted several times.. and btw.. this method is soo 2008.. :)

I had considered this option along with some other "cheap" options, but they make it far too easy for FB or whoever to blacklist all your accounts, now I don't know that they will, but it seems fairly obvious if you give yourself a big footprint you will be easy to filter out.

@TrueSaima:

A lot of information has been shared on BHW. Therefore you might
have missed the fact that the info you were offering had been shared
before. Besides that, you are new to this forum, so it would be highly
unlikely that you had even seen it before.

Anyway, thanks for attempting to share an idea, and I am certain you
were unaware that it had been shared here before.

I didn't know that, and if I didn't know it I certainly wouldn't have found an old buried post about it. Thanks for the share

Yes . . . Here is a thread I found:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/email-marketing-opt-lists/73776-how-get-unlimited-gmail-accounts-free.html

But, you are correct . . . It would have been difficult to find it if you had tried
to search for it. In my case, I recalled part of the title of the thread. Without
knowing that in advance, it would have been quite difficult to find that thread.

I didn't know so it helped 1 person, which suffices in his thread.

Don't quite see the best use for it yet.

Thanks given

Here's an example: If you wanted to create several Twitter accounts,
you could modify your gmail address as shown above and each modified
version will be recognized by Twitter as a different email address, when
in fact, they are all the same as your unmodified gmail address.

@WizGizmo
In post # 8 and #10 two members admitted that they didn't knew of it before this thread. And you personally mentioned that it would have been difficult to find the old share, still some one negative repped me for this post and I am not feeling good at all after that negative rep.

Apparently as i already said, I know that the method is old one, and some of blackhatters are already aware of it, but at the same few users are getting benefit out of it after this post.

Can someone help me to get my reps back which someone reduced me to 13 points from 15.

If you can't start a thread in BHW because "that information has been shared before", then you can go ahead and nix about 1/2 the threads on here (and 1/2 the other ones should be ignored anyway - haha!)

How is someone going to KNOW to search for this?....Uh, I wonder if I can reuse my email address by putting extra dots or numbers in it? Yeah, that's a neat idea, I think I'll search for that...wait...do I search for "dots" or "periods"?...

Give me a break!!! It's a neat trick. Sure, it's been around for a while and been posted before. So what?

There is no way for me to know who neg-repped you.

Regardless, I have given you a +rep to make up for the neg-rep that someone gave you. :)

TrueSaima: I hit the thanks button. Good info to know! I have been around BHW for a little while now and did not realize you could do this. I appreciate you sharing...

And below is a tool that will automatically create a list of various modifications of your original gmail address:

Just type in your gmail address (without the "@gmail.com"), type in the captcha, and hit SUBMIT.
Code:
http://gdotmail.com/
Then copy and paste the results into a text file and save it on your HD for later use.
