Could you recommend the cheapest, yet stable and reliable domain registrar in your opinion? I know NameCheap, but I'm sure it's not that cheap, especially when it comes to domain renewal prices, which are constantly rising.

Namecheap is cheap in the name only. Cheapest changes every year. Since last year it's unstoppabledomains before that it was Spaceship.

Thank you so much, it is really helpful service, price is really good for me!

I'll recommend you check Matbao or AfterNIC for both affordability and how they prioritize domain owners. And you're right, a big issue with many of these registrars is their hidden fees. They'll give you the first year for cents or a few dollars, but when it's time to renew your domain, you're blowing 10-20X what you paid initially. Only a few like Trustname show you what the subsequent renewal fees will be or charge the same amount for the 'first registration' and renewal fees.

If you want the simplest cheap option, many people go with Cloudflare or Porkbun because pricing is transparent and renewals stay low.

You're absolutely right. Namecheap often has great first year promotions, but renewal prices can be double or triple. You can check out some other providers like Cloudflare Registrar, Porkbun.

Every company has its own way of selling domains cheaply; I don't think we can say this company has the cheapest.

Porkbun — the cheapest and most stable option for most
I don't like their forcefully comply with the kyc. That is ridiculous, They need phone no, address and then ID verification. I think thats not a good deal whatever cheap the price is.

To solve the problem of truly affordable, stable, and reliable renewal prices, I suggest Cloudflare Registrar (cheapest in the long run) or Porkbun (easy to use, extremely budget friendly). You can consider these options.

Been using Namecheap for a while but renewals are getting expensive now. Saw LuxHost offering 20% promo in their thread anyone here tried them long-term?

Building on the Cloudflare Registrar idea, their at-cost pricing model indeed keeps renewals low, with most domains costing between $8-$15 per year, and they don't charge extra for WHOIS privacy. I've personally used them for over 2 years now, and their automated DNS setup has been seamless, with zero downtime. For those concerned about KYC, Cloudflare Registrar doesn't require phone or ID verification, making it a more private option compared to Porkbun. In terms of stability, Cloudflare's infrastructure is top-notch, with built-in DDoS protection and SSL certificates. Overall, Cloudflare Registrar offers the best long-term value for domains, with transparent pricing and reliable service.

I have seen a lot of people mention Porkbun and Dynadot lately for better renewal prices. Namecheap is still solid, but the renewals can add up over time. Might be worth comparing long term costs before deciding.

The cheapest domain registrar depends on offers, but generally Namecheap and Dynadot are known for low prices and fair renewals. GoDaddy can be cheap initially but renewals are higher. Always check renewal cost, not just first-year price.

How about $6.99? Renewal is $11.65. It’s a promo on Rayname, and honestly, I think it’s a pretty good deal.

gikkin' bout people that jump to big registars but everytime gotta issues with cab lock
Thx to lux domains I just don't got rugged when my domains had suspected in first day, support solved my problem in 2days...
