Hello!

I'm new to Facebook advertising. I don't understand why my ad account was banned immediately after I added a credit card. I tried creating a new social media profile, but it was banned before I could even start advertising.

Please help me.

I appreciate all your suggestions!

If your account is newly created and you add a card immediately, the system is likely to detect a payment risk because they will scan the card. Try letting the account "active" for a few days, or the easiest way is to use older accounts that have been established for a long time, or buy them from another seller.

That error is due to your advertising account not being good enough.

You should look for a better advertising account.

Please check that the country of your advertising account matches the country of your credit card. You also cannot create a new Facebook social profile to immediately launch a new advertising campaign if your old account has been banned.

Since you're using new ad accounts, to keep them healthy you need to warm them up or use agency ad accounts.

The primary reason for an instant ban is your digital footprint, so use an anti-detect browser like AdsPower with a fresh residential proxy and ensure the account is "warmed up" with organic activity for a few days before adding any payment methods in 2026.

Was this card previously used for another account? is it your personal card? And what about your ip/proxy?

If your social media profile gets blocked before registration, the issue is likely with your device or IP address. Try using an anti-detection browser ( you can start with free profiles in Linken Sphere or Dolphin), share your mobile connection from your phone, and try registering again.

Most likely trust issue.
Fresh profile + fresh ad account + card added too fast is a classic FB ban pattern.
Use an aged profile, warm it up first, and don’t create ad accounts or add payment methods immediately.

Facebook often flags new accounts for 'Unusual Activity' when a credit card is added from a clean IP. To fix this, you need a warmed-up aged account or an Agency setup that bypasses the initial payment verification hurdle

When your ad account gets banned right after adding a car, it's usually Meta's automated risk system kicking in. New accounts don't have any trust history yet, so certain actions can look suspicious even if you're legit.

Try to appeal the restriction directly from your account quality section. Even if you created a new account, it's even worse as it's a new account + directly setting up for ads. Even profiles needs to be warmed up.

  • Instant ban after adding card = Meta sees your account as high risk

Main reasons:

  • New account (no trust)
  • Mismatch (IP / country / card info)
  • Using VPN or creating multiple accounts
  • Linked to previously banned accounts
  • Risky niche (like replica products)

How to fix:

  • Use a real, aged profile
  • No VPN
  • Match all info (name, country, payment)
  • Warm up account before ads
  • Don’t create many accounts

Key: build trust, don’t keep recreating accounts

To avoid immediate payment risk bans, avoid adding cards to brand new profiles, as this classic pattern often triggers Meta's trust filters. Instead, you can use aged accounts or follow a warm-up period of a few days before setting up billing or launching ads to establish system trust.

Yeah, ad bans suck, I’ve seen this a bunch. From my tests, brand-new cards on fresh profiles trigger payment risk fast. I usually let the account age 3–5 days and run a couple of low-spend or non-offer campaigns first, keep payment country and IP consistent, and only then scale. If you’re chasing ROI, document what triggered the ban and rebuild with a clean, aged account before big spends.

in my exp this happen when fb see new acc as risky, like new profile + new BM + add card same time look suspicious for them, also bad card, vpn, diff country ip or using same device from old banned acc can trigger instant ban, fb system very strict now, better warm up profile few days, use real info, normal activity then add payment and create ads slow, dont rush everything same day it usually get flagged fast.

this happens quite often with new accounts
especially after adding payment method

fb flags new profiles very aggressively now

some accounts can still be recovered depending on the case

feel free to message me, I can check it
