Rich Dad, Poor Dad

The book I'm vouching for is "How to Win Friends and Influence People." by Dale Carnegie.

Shows how to interact and read people. The psychic of business selling. A little motivation too.

It was released in 1930(?) and has been a best seller year after year ever since. In fact, Warren Buffett praises this book on many occassions throughout his books and through some interviews.

THINK AND GROW RICH, HILL nuff said
then
Pick up art of negotiation by Roger Dawson (tapes)
books tapes cd by hopkins, tracy, ziglar
its all about sales, people and negotiation

More like, "Rich Rob, Poor Customer"

I can sum up the book's central message...

Buy things that will earn you money,
rather than things that will cost you money.

X-Box: Costs you money because you have to keep buying games.

Rentals: Makes you money because people pay for it.

There are lots of great books already listed, Think & Grow Rich, How to Win Friends and Influence People, and The Magic of Thinking Big are among my favorites. I advise you also add Winning Through Intimidation by Robert Ringer to your list. On the surface it will seem like it's about real estate, but it's really about business and life in general.

Best of luck to you and, like others have said, I really wish I was thinking like you are at your age.

A lot of the Poor Dad books repeat the same information... you'll get a lot more out of reading these, in my opinion:

Rich Dad Poor Dad
Think and Grow Rich
How to Win Friends and Influence People
Who Moved My Cheese
Awaken the Giant Within
7 Habits of Highly Effective People
4 Hour Work Week
Success is a State of Mind

Robert K. (the author of RDPD) is a fraud. Hes just a great storyteller. hxxp://www .jo hntreed.com/Kiyo saki.html for more information about that fraud.

he may well be, the book still has some great lessons and mindsets just don't take it too literally.

seems like this john treed is trying to piggyback on the success of kiyosaki...whatever works aye :)

This book is a bad book with good branding. Studying the marketing strategy will be more efficient than the book itself.

Any book by Tony Robbins / Wayne Dyer / Brian Tracy will be f--a--r better than this nonsense "make money quickly selling a good titled book" book.
After you read this one, and a few from the others I mentioned, you will see that the difference between the authors is like the difference between Google and 7Search.

In today's world, the best this book could have been is a WSO.

That's my input. Enjoy the book.

You can buy it, or buy ab used one (some are on neat conditions and are cheaper) and I also saw some versions on .pdf to download, just search on rapidlibrary.

Roberts partner licensed to a shoddy company. This is what happens when you partner with humans, you are bound to partner with some real idiots. Robert's already said that hes had to change his team plenty of times. I know I have had some TERRIBLE partners, haven't you? One man doesn't have the time to look into everything.

He is not a fraud, and hes not just about real estate. With the help of his books I am changing my life. Im making money doing what I love, making friends doing what I love, found an amazing girlfriend doing what I love, and building my team and network doing what I love.

Read this: http://www.conspiracyoftherich.com/ And please remove that "conspiracy" stigma, humans conspire against each other all the time, just look up the definition.

As a young person who owns rental properties and several businesses, I want you to understand a couple things.

The book is marketed towards an audience who does not and will never have the financial means to test this book and determine its quality.

The author did not become wealthy by owning his own businesses, properties, or anything other than the money he made by selling a dream in the form of a book to people in the target audience I mentioned above.

Doing most of what he claims to do to build assets in his book is three thousand times more complicated than he claims.

A mindset will not get you anywhere. Your financial situation will, and very wise decisions. Invest in yourself (such as by going to college to specifically earn a well paying job), and then invest in other area's of your life.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is like commercial dumb down version of Think and Grow Rich
