Trustpilot Permanently removing our real reviews

Hi everyone,

I just created a project, and started advertising heavily, so I started getting some traction and sales, and of course 90% of people do not leave reviews, but after begging and following up with people they finally post reviews.

However, Trustpilot keeps removing our reviews for no reason, the reviews get posted, approved by trustpilot, then less than 24 hours later they are removed, NONE of these reviews were bought, none of them were botted, they were all genuine real reviews from real users.

What can I do to make them stop removing my reviews? Is there something I can tell users to do to minimize the chance of the reviews being removed? I went as far as asking my users to only use real gmail, no incognito, no VPNs, and still some of the reviews get removed daily.

Would apppreciate any advice because now it seems like every 2-3 hours I will have a review removed.

It is advise to make a review per device and Gmail to avoid removal of reviews with trustpilot, vpn most be avoid too.

Trustpilot has also been removing 100% real legit genuine reviews as well. Trustpilot algorithms is well "oiled" to arm-wrestle businesses into their paid plans. It is all about revenue and profits. Niches of businesses which are generally more profitable such as crypto, forex, trading, etc see more reviews removed, than others, ofcourse even the 100% real legit genuine reviews as well get removed.

Yeah, a review I posted after a seller requested me to also got removed and Trustpilot asked me for proof which I sent but they still havent put up my review. I think its a problem with new Trustpilot accounts because when you tell clients to write a review they create a new account and Trustpilot sees a single review with all pros but no cons as fake. Their TOS forbids asking clients to post a review. A balanced review should get approved.

best you can do is slow down review requests, vary wording naturally, and open a support ticket to ask what trust signals they expect

You can back online the deleted reviews again… Just ask the reviewer to submit any documents of taking your service or any kinds of invoices

They randomly remove the reviews, even years old genuine reviews get drop, and you cant do anything about it.

Trustpilot is now flagging reviews based on device Mac addresses and browser fingerprints not just ips

Trustpilot usually removes reviews when patterns look unnatural like incentivized requests clustered timing or shared signals across reviewers

Space out requests avoid pushing users too hard and let reviews come more organically otherwise their system will keep flagging even real reviews

Do you send them link to post the review? That's a red flag to trustpilot. You should tell them to go to trustpilot and search for your business or website and post the review. Even better to ask few of them to give you a 4 star.

The business model of Trustpilot, is to remove numerous reviews, even totally real legit reviews, in order to force businesses to upgrade to their premium paid plan(s). Once you do that, then you will see reviews will remain (stick) to your Trustpilot lisiting, smoothly.
Don't believe it ? Just contact Trustpilot support about reviews getting removed from your listing and see for yourself. They will give you some vague reasons and then suggest that you upgrade to their premium paid plan(s).

Collect their emails and send them an invitation link to review your Trustpilot page. Ask them to simply click the link in the email and leave their review. This approach usually works well, and the reviews are more likely to remain on your profile

Trustpilot removes reviews when they trigger fraud filters (IP patterns, incentivization, review gating, or coordinated requests), even if genuine.

This can happen with Trustpilot if their system flags reviews as suspicious, especially when many come in within a short time. Try spacing out review requests and avoid sending them all at once. Also, asking customers to leave more detailed reviews sometimes helps. Building reviews gradually usually reduces removals.

The only better way for you to subscribe to Trustpilot！！！To invite a large number of customers to leave reviews! However, you'll find that they will still delete some of your reviews because they need to keep deleting them to keep you inviting customers to leave reviews, so that you'll keep subscribing to their membership!

It's their way of doing business. They will try to sell their subscription with whatever it takes

They've started updating again this week, and more and more comments are being deleted—some real, some fake, they're all being deleted!
