Hi everyone,
Yesterday, a guy messaged me asking: my ad account is having trouble with the payment threshold; it keeps fluctuating, increasing very slowly and unevenly. I'm not sure if this is due to Meta's stricter system or a problem with my account itself.

Has anyone else running multiple ads encountered a similar situation? If you have any solutions or tips to optimize the payment threshold so it increases steadily again, please share them with me.

Facebook isn't what it used to be; currently, it can only increase by 10% of the threshold, my friend.

Facebook has changed a lot compared to before. These days, growth or increases tend to be much more limited and gradual, often capped at small increments rather than large jumps.

So that's it. The threshold is too small. The meta is too difficult.

Yes, this usually means the account’s trust score dropped, often due to payment issues, disables, or risky behavior

Is there any way to increase the threshold faster, buddy?

If this threshold is repeatedly exceeded, the account may be experiencing an error; please contact Facebook support for assistance.

Payment threshold changes are usually system-driven and tied to account trust, spend history, and payment reliability, so slow or uneven increases are fairly common. Keeping clean billing, consistent spend, and avoiding sudden scaling is generally the best way to let it grow naturally again.

Yes, this often indicates a decrease in the account’s trust level, which can be triggered by factors like payment problems, previous restrictions, or activity that the system flags as higher risk.

Increasing the threshold for late and irregular payments is quite normal, typically 10%; it has become a feature.

Changes to payment thresholds are usually controlled by the system and depend on factors like account trust, spending history, and billing stability. Gradual or inconsistent increases are quite common. Maintaining clean payment details, steady spending patterns, and avoiding sudden budget jumps generally helps the threshold adjust naturally over time.

this payment threshold is entirely adjusted by the meta system based on account trustworthiness, so there's virtually no way to optimize it directly. you should maintain a consistent payment history and a clean account so the system will automatically raise the threshold over time

Fluctuations in payment thresholds usually come from the system or due to a decrease in account trust, related to spending and payment history. The best way is to keep payments clean, spend steadily, and avoid sudden scaling so the account has time to recover and grow again naturally.

Facebook is no longer raising the payment threshold as before. They are using a dynamic risk assessment system:
Payment history
Ad account reliability...

Facebook's algorithm now prioritizes stability over rapid growth; any budget increases are subject to gradual censorship. This reflects the low trust level of accounts—a consequence of payment errors or policy penalties. In this context, maintaining a clean account history is a prerequisite for the system to loosen spending limits.

That's an algorithm from Facebook from a long time ago, the spending limit is 10%.

Depending on the quality of your advertising account, if the account quality is good, the payment threshold will increase steadily with each invoice.

I paid manually a few times. Then I saw the threshold increase slowly, around 10%.

Yes, so I made the initial payment 3-5 times. After that, I saw the threshold increase, but very slowly, only about 10%.
