On my X feed I saw people saying RAM prices have suddenly shot up and major companies are now planning to secure their stocks is this true??
Are these high RAM Costs true??

As far as I've heard, this is related to AI. Many data centers are buying up all the stock, so some suppliers, such as Samsung and Micron, have simply stopped taking orders. It's like what happened before with video cards and crypto, now it's happening with RAM and AI.

it’s honestly crazy what people are charging now, i got all my parts earlier this year, and the same ram i bought for my build is more than double the original price, and i got it new
i think prices will go down sooner than later because everyone in the consumer pc space will do something to get these companies to lower the price
either way it’s shitty because you’re basically forced to buy ram (even crappy sticks that you would never buy) like you’re getting it from the mafia cause you’ll have to pay extortionate prices if you need to purchase ram for w/e reason right now

Everything is crazy high price right now. I was at the grocery store earlier today and noticed on some things like pork chops and whole chickens have tripled in price since last month. I really can’t call it but my guess is that the bubble is about to finally pop on Covid era pricing.
Here in the States the federal reserve (central bank) is talking about slashing interest rates to finally bring down inflation. Next thing you know everything shoot’s up in price. Right now I don’t want to buy anything. Even food!

It was great when I built a new PC on the AM5 socket 7 months ago, and I didn't regret it.
At the time, my PC (without a video card) cost around $1,200, but now it's worth more than $2,200.
By the way, I have the following configuration:
- MSI MAG B650M MORTAR
- ADATA XPG Lancer Blade 64gb (2x32)
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Kingston KC3000 (512gb)
- Kingston KC3000 (2000gb)
Since then, the price of RAM has increased by 3 times. The price of NVME has increased by 2 times. Just in a couple of days. It's crazy.
A guy at the store told me a couple of days ago that these are still low prices for RAM and nvme drives, and they're going to go even higher.
Allegedly, the company is buying up OpenAI, buying up huge quantities of DDR5 and high-speed NVME.
