When I log into my LinkedIn account, it says this, what do I do?

When I click "Verify with Persona," it keeps saying "Something unexpected happened. Please try again." I've tried multiple times, but the same message keeps popping up. :weep:How do I

Maybe you should open the link to in a external browser, or login with a laptop or computer

LinkedIn accounts are difficult to verify and are easily suspended? The solution chosen by many people is to use real accounts from real users, which have been verified and are stable – both fast and safe.

It's impossible to skip the identity check on LinkedIn. It will catch up to you no matter what you do, even legitimate users have to verify identity.

Most people abusing bulk linkedin accounts for parasites use fake/stolen docs for verification.

I am a real user and I want to complete the verification as required, but I cannot enter. Is there any other way to submit?

You should buy old Linkedin account, its price on the market is about 100$

Try it on a laptop or computer, you will be surprised it will work or try updating your LinkedIn app on your mobile to the latest or simply reboot your phone

This usually happens when Persona can’t complete the identity verification due to a technical or account-related issue. A few things you can try:

  1. Clear cache/cookies – Persona often fails if your browser has old sessions stored.
  2. Switch devices – Try verifying from mobile if desktop fails (or vice versa).
  3. Use a stable IP – Avoid VPNs/proxies during verification; Persona sometimes blocks them.
  4. Check document format – Make sure your ID upload is clear, not cropped, and matches the details you entered.
  5. Contact support – If it still fails, reach out to the platform you’re verifying on. Sometimes the issue isn’t with Persona but with how the site integrated it.

I’ve seen this happen before, and in most cases, clearing cache or switching to another device/browser fixes it. If not, contacting support is the fastest way forward.

Forged/pirated documents? Is this profession still there? Where can I contact these people?

Try using a pc with a new browser, that's how i fixed the same error

Yeah, that’s LinkedIn’s new security layer powered by Persona. It usually pops up when the system flags unusual activity or a login from a new device or region. Most of the time, it just needs a quick re-verification with your real name and a valid ID that matches your profile.

If you’re getting the “something unexpected happened” error, try clearing your browser cache or switching to another device or network. Sometimes it’s just LinkedIn being buggy on mobile.

when LinkedIn blocks you and shows the “restricted” or “action required” message it means they found something unusual—maybe too many connection requests fast, too much automation or a different device/ip combo. best move: stop any auto tools, use a trusted clean device, submit the appeal honestly, wait for their response.

Try changing your device and try again. Might work!

yep same situation happened to me. i think LinkedIn caught something fishy—maybe login from new device or too many connection invites. for now i stopped automation, changed proxy/device, and submitted appeal with proof. wait time is frustrating but i think staying low profile helps.

You should contact the linkedin support in order for them to resolve your problem.
