depends on the niche, but from what i've seen lately, solid on-page structure, topical content clusters, and internal linking seem to matter more than ever.
backlinks still help, but not as much if the content and site structure aren't there.
also, making sure the site loads fast and looks good on mobile helps more than people think. still testing stuff myself though.

I don’t think the same process is still being followed these days. AI is influencing some other activities now, but good content and the right keywords still play a major role. We should focus on that.

First of all, you should spend good amount of time in keyword research. Then write detailed content covering every aspect of the topic.
