Just make sure you're adding real value and not spamming. Human edits + strong internal linking still go a long way in ranking.

It is necessary to train your own AI. Rag and Fine-Tuning

List your biz on Wikidata, keep Google Business updated, and publish CC-licensed press releases on Medium or GitHub. These public sources get scraped by AI, so your brand shows up in answers.

To make AI talk about your website, you can start by using keywords relevant to your website and business. Make sure to have high-quality content on your website that includes these keywords. Additionally, use meta tags and descriptions effectively to provide information to AI about your website. Regularly updating your website with fresh content also helps AI recognize your website as a valuable source of information. Lastly, make sure your website is mobile-friendly and easy to navigate, as AI also takes user experience into account when ranking websites.

Make sure your site has a clear "About Us" page and uses schema markup to help AI read you content. Post useful info in your niche often. Also, list your business on Google Business and trusted sites - AI pulls data from these sources.

To get AI to recognize your website, focus on structured data (schema markup) to help AI understand your content.

Create clear, factual, and high-quality content that aligns with common queries in your niche. Update your Google Business Profile if you're a local business and ensure your site is indexed properly.

Engaging on platforms like forums, Quora, and social media also helps spread your content to AI-visible spaces.

It is not prone to manipulation so easily. To manipulate, you will have to fake a of users talking about your site.

AI tools are definitely changing how we approach SEO. Smart content generation with human editing can save time and still rank well if optimized properly for intent and structure.

It's clear you didn't read the OPs thread content.

At OP, I think it boils down your content being indexed by the respective search engine these AI use. One of my sites shows up on chatGPT once in a while, all I had to do was rank on Bing. Which the site has been doing for long before AI blew up.

Sure! Here's how to help AI talk about your website:
  1. Write helpful, clear content
  2. Use schema markup (FAQ, product, article)
  3. List on Google/Bing/LinkedIn/Yelp
  4. Add FAQ & How-To pages
  5. Engage on Quora, Reddit, forums
  6. Have a strong About page

Make sure your website content is optimized for AI driven queries. Create high quality content that answers common questions about your industry or product. Use clear language with relevant keywords and terms that AI tools can easily recognize. The more informative and relevant your content is, the more likely AI will associate it with relevant queries

SEO isnt changed a lot with AI and dont think AI is "secret success key" Rn, it rather your assistant that can help you make your work easier

In my opinion, optimize your content and make sure your website is informative. You can create blog posts that answer questions related to your industry and use schema markup to help AI easily recognize and understand your content. Try to increase your website presence on reputable platforms so that AI and users can easily find it.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Really helpful.

The easiest way to feed AI information about your website is to make your content easily discoverable and well-structured. Here are quick tips:

  1. Use clear, descriptive content – Write naturally about who you are, what you offer, and what makes you unique.
  2. Add structured data (schema.org) – Use schema markup like Organization, LocalBusiness, or Article so AI and search engines can better understand your site.
  3. Submit your site to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools – This helps with indexing and visibility.
  4. Keep NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistent – Ensure the same info appears across your website, social media, and directories.
  5. Get backlinks and mentions – AI models often learn from sources that link to or talk about your site.

The more visible and structured your presence is online, the more likely AI will surface your content in relevant queries.

I have started focusing more on structured content and consistent entity mentions across my site. Using schema markup like Organization and AboutPage seems to help LLMs

Understand the site better. I also make sure the brand name appears naturally across multiple context-rich pages.

Publishing topic-relevant content clusters and getting mentioned on other indexed pages has also improved visibility in AI summaries over time.

To get AI systems to “know” your site without any heavy lifting, think of it the same way you would human experts:

First, make your site’s own pages as self-explanatory and authoritative as possible. Use clear, descriptive titles and headings, sprinkle in the keywords people ask about, and publish FAQ or “about” pages that literally answer the questions you want AI to surface your business for. Search engines and the large-language-model crawlers that feed off them adore sites that map one-to-one onto user queries—so a well-structured Q&A page or knowledge base (with schema.org FAQ/schema markup) is gold.

Second, get your site cited everywhere reputable: guest posts on industry blogs, directory listings, press mentions, social profiles, a Wikipedia entry if you qualify. Every time Google or Bing indexes another trustworthy reference to your brand, you’re expanding the knowledge graph that underpins most AI assistants.

Finally, if you really want guaranteed visibility in tools like ChatGPT, build a lightweight API or ChatGPT plugin that exposes your product catalog or company info—then publish it in the official plugin directory. That way, when someone asks “Hey, what can AcmeCo do for me?” the assistant can call your plugin in real time rather than guessing based on generic web scraps.
In short, make your own content laser-focused on user questions, earn credible citations around the web, and—if you need a 100% direct line—wrap your data in an official AI plugin or API. Do that and when people ask the next AI “Where can I find a great XYZ?” you’ll be the obvious answer.
