Technically, discussions about whether the Earth is flat do not fall under the rules of political or inflammatory discussions but I'd rather if you didn't have this debate because it's depressing the hell out of me.
It would make more sense that the Earth is a toroid than flat, or cube anything. Flat earthers also say "water is always flat/level". Well, that's demonstrably not true. Is a drop of dew "flat?" is a raindrop "flat"? I know most flat earthers think planets and stars are just lights in the firmament. If they actually observed planets through a telescope, do they think those are flat too???

Finally! Someone with a brain!Flat earth is biblical !! the reason most people on this forum don't believe flat earth is because most of them believe modern science (which is actually pseudoscience)
indoctrinated by public schools and their parents. it's basically science vs religion debate
First, I'm not sure if we're supposed to discuss religion here, BUT in no way shape or form is flat earth "Biblical" - at all. That is a misconception spread by whoever/whatever is sucking people into the demonstrably false doctrine of "flat earth. You are spreading falsehoods. Here's a hint - old King James is NOT what you should be reading if you are seeking truth. There are many better translations and there are books left out of many modern translations.Flat earth is biblical !! the reason most people on this forum don't believe flat earth is because most of them believe modern science (which is actually pseudoscience)

I dont get it

At least one person got your joke.....As z FET association high ranking official, we have members all around the globe.
Oh ..Look at the poll, "Do You Believe the Earth is Flat?"
Nobody's supposed to discuss religion anywhere on the board. But on this occasion I might encourage it because it would give me a reason to delete this thread.First, I'm not sure if we're supposed to discuss religion here
Unfortunately, he's NOT trolling. It's a growing epidemic. I've seen this grow near exponentially over the past 5 years or so. Originally (on other forums) I thought it was trolling too. Once people (who formerly seemed quite rational) fall into this trap there seems to be no reaching them. If you look at my original post in this thread you will see 2 simple suggestions for people to use so they can verify that the Earth rotates, and the sun is not "local." Having the sun be much smaller and closer than "science" would have us believe is crucial to the flat earth paradigm. If you ask a flat earth adherent how they explain a sunset they will tell you (and apparently truly believe) that the sun just gets smaller and smaller as it gets further away - that the sunset is just an optical illusion.Nobody's supposed to discuss religion anywhere on the board. I can't tell if the OP is pulling off one of the most elaborate and well-formed pieces of trolling or satire or if they actually believe that the planet Earth is actually flat, but if for some reason you all want to continue having this discussion then do not touch religion or politics or this thread will be torched.
I'm well aware of the fact that there are people who truly believe this and chemtrails and 'jet fuel can't melt steel beams' and all the other crackpot conspiracy theories and anti-science bullshit out there. My point was that if you all want to keep giving this flat earth nonsense the oxygen of publicity then do so without treading into political or religious waters. I don't want to have to keep coming back in here, it hurts my feelings.Unfortunately, he's NOT trolling. It's a growing epidemic. I've seen this grow near exponentially over the past 5 years or so. It has been sad to see so many people going this direction. As I mentioned previously, I believe this "movement" is being led by intelligence agencies to discredit people who expose other state sponsored lies.
PS - NUKE THREAD AT WILL
Like I said, it's a cash cow. Because it's highly controversial it triggers a lot of people. In results it drives a lot of traffic (money)Unfortunately, he's NOT trolling. It's a growing epidemic.
