Anyone farming Facebook groups in 2024?

This section seems to only talk about ads and while ads are one of my primary sources of income, I'm always trying to find places to invest my money to make it work for me.

Is anyone farming Facebook groups / building communities? I don't mean spamming, but actually building a group where 100+ real people engage per day.

I tried to buy a FB group recently but they wanted $0.30 a member which is crazy high imo so I'm considering farming.

I am farming new members using Facebook ads. The price they gave you is definitely overpriced.

I put a few hundred towards ads. Targeting USA, getting about $1 per member.

I used to operate a few groups a few years back, though I don't reckon that things would've changed since then.

I just did a shit ton of Reddit posts to which I purchased around 10-20 upvotes each, to give the posts initial engagement at the first hour of posting (boosts the post to the HOT tab). The post led to a site with a short-ish quiz, and at the end of the quiz I just bombarded the users with different CTAs to join a Facebook group in the same niche.

It could've been that my niches were already 'Facebook mom' niches, or something else, but I managed to get around 5-ish(??)% conversion rate (from completed quizzes to group joins).

Single Reddit posts could easily land me hundreds of group joins.

Not sure if it's applicable in your niche/s, but could be worth a shot.

That price depends on the interaction of your group, you can increase the dollar because in my opinion 0.3 dollars for a participant is expensive, in addition you can focus on visual content to attract participants to your group.

The way to build a group is to invite friends and relatives to join to have the first members. Then, encourage them to be active in the group. it will help the team grow quickly

oh.there are many community groups active every day.you can join to learn and exchange more

Starting with a core group of friends and family can give you that initial push. From there, building engagement through consistent, quality content and leveraging ads or even Reddit can help attract the right members. It's more about fostering genuine connections than just numbers!

$0.30 per person is too expensive. You should find a cheaper provider or build a team yourself which will be more cost effective.

with whitehat, i think you can buy accounts and run ads yourself. Try to pay attention to your content, image, target and budget

You can absolutely build your own group. If you post engaging content that resonates with your audience, your site can grow very quickly

You can increase your group with lower costs by using Facebook ads.

They are hit or miss. If you manage to build or join an active community that recognizes you as a contributing member, you could extract some value. But if your monetization is considered spammy, it's easy to burn that bridge even if you are the mod.

Engaged targeted communities can be quite valuable on any platform, but are often difficult to maintain.
