I got a so-called free trial of the static residential proxy and it turned out to be a data center proxy which I began to suspect when my test social media account was suspended. As far as I can determine these people are perfectly happy to roll the trial into a paid subscription and charge you top dollar for a low quality proxy that is worse than useless for the advertised purpose. It's possible that if you pay up front you get what you asked for but in that case they are doing themselves a big disservice with the trial. Of course this could have been a fluke and I understand the problems with offering free trials of something as consumable as a residential proxy. I'm not sure that I'm allowed to share the IP address that I was given so that others can verify so I won't but the usage type was DCH - Data Center/Web Hosting/Transit.
