I know nothing about nothing. But there are people on this board who ignore the big G as a traffic source. Shezblogging method is one example whereby the traffic comes from twitter. Facebook can be another rich source of traffic.

In my case, I have 6 banned / delisted sites, no trace in G, yet get traffic and make sales. Of course the income would be 8 times more if the sites were still listed. But my point is there are other traffic sources then the big G.

And in my case, I do plan to explore other traffic sources.

your site is not yet dead, if it was deindexed it will be another story

here is how i get out of the sandbox within 3 weeks max

if there is any duplicate content on the site, i will just delete all the articles

then i will do an articles blitz, publish between 10-20 articles original(rewrite at 50%+) during 3 days

i fix a target of 50 articles, a good place to start with the keywords, is to extract all your logs files and see the most keyword occurrence , these are your seeds keywords for your fresh content

also the most visited pages is a good place to publish some 100% original articles with links to others articles(good practice, write a long articles for these ones)

i have done this on several niche, the hardest was stock market and got the site back

in fact i developed this method after my webmaster made a huge mistake and published the sources articles instead of the rewrites

I know it is very hard mate but you will have to start it all over again and yes this time keep in mind the mistakes which you did earlier just do not repeat them. one thing is for sure that it will take less time now.

The problem is that I don't know what I did wrong. I did everything white hat, took a long time to get backlinks without spamming. I'm sure it will take less time, but the website was ranking for multiple keywords.

It might be google dance. Wait a bit and see if it gets back to where it belongs. On the other hand, i hope you saved some money for rainy days because you might need it soon to get back on your feet. I always stash 20% of my monthly income and never touch it so in case a prick changes his mind and doesn't believe that my websites deserve the ranks they have, i have enough funds to keep going.

I did save some money, most of it actually and dam i sure hope its just a google dance and it will be back up soon.

NOTHING, I haven't changed anything on the site in awhile and was just getting few links here and there. The one thing I did do is write about 10 articles and post them on article directories that linked to one of the pages on the site. But I don't see how that would effect me negatively THAT much.

I never said that, I saved up the money and its not the ONLY source of income, but it was my main source. My other sites earn about 10% of what this one was earning.

something i learned is never expect the earnings and ranking to be the same, always try to add more and always try to earn more so when this happens to one site you have others to fall back on.
i always make sure i make twice for a new action that will cost something

Well, the website is 1st on Yahoo and Bing, but I get only about 100 views from both lol.

Thanks, but I did that just last week. I wrote about 10 articles with links to one of my pages. (not the main page). Also, there is no duplicate content on the site. Everything was written by me.

I'd say work on suggestions given in the 'Analytics' and keep building backlinks and content so the 'resurgence' will be strong. It's all about patience my friend.


And you still get 100 visits from Bing and Yahoo!, so you should be able to atleast mantain some revenue from the site.

Fast paced? McDonalds people move S-L-O-W with their friggen ketchup machines & boxed sandwiches. Not to mention they require like twice the staff in order to know what their doing.

Go for BK. It's nice sometimes to take on 5 people's jobs because nobody really cares how badly your doing it as long as your doing it. Plus it's extremely easy to make a little extra cash for that cash draw in the ones that only have one window.

1. Collect their money and do the math in your head for change. The cash draw just sits on the counter separate from the register, so the machine doesn't know you collected any money yet. The register doesn't know or care if those are the people actually at the window.
2. Recall & modify (hit the "add to order" button) the orders when everyones gone like they changed something at the window (start deleting drinks, they don't show up in the kitchen) and pocket the difference.
3. Make sure you can get to the printers that print out the tickets for the people bagging the sandwiches before they get to them. Then have a few drinks laying around so you can say "oh, that's the soda they didn't want" if you get caught.

The only part that sucks is you have to cycle though all of the orders on the machine if someone gives you a credit card which takes forever.

I worked there for about a year and a half and brought home +$40 or $50 every day I got to work drive-thu. Best paying job I ever had.. They wanted to make me a manager.

Have you seen any back links changed recently? If you got a blast back links, that means somebody might send spam links point to your site. Then you site got G punished.

Not sure on that... But links in yahoo are about what they used to be, I haven't checked in awhile though.

It happens to everyone, just get back to work and diversify next time, don't put all your eggs in one basket, build a few sites at a time, try different things, etc...

If it dropped so fast, it may be back; sit on it a day or so. It could be some sort of -30 penalty too, check out Google Webmaster Tools for alerts.

More importantly, pay attention to the advice here; diversify your income streams, build multiple income channels, learn from your successes here, and don't give up on this site just try new optimization methods or traffic channels.

If the site converted well, consider social traffic or invest in some paid traffic.
